Just spent the Memorial Weekend 2005 at Earlton Hill Campsites. Will never go back. Campers there had no respect for other peoples sites, walking through, parking on. No quiet time, unruly campers all nights yelling and playing loud music, especially Sunday night. Had entertainment there till 10:30 and then it really got bad. Gangs of drunks, site in back of ours had brought a set of drums, bongo drums and guitar. Site next to ours must have had 10 cars on it and motorcycle. Seemed each person on the site had a change to drive the motorcycle around the campground (this was after midnight).

Gangs roamed the area leaving beer cans and trash, singing as loud at possible and also cursing as loud as possible. There was nothing we could do; we were too frightened to go outside for fear of what would happen to us. When I called the office from our cell phone we got a recording. Finally quieted down after 2:30 am. No one from the campground did anything about what was going on and when I complained the next morning they responded "What noise?"

The roads in the campground have hugh ruts that make driving almost impossible. Children riding bikes and/or running across the roads make it hard to drive but it seems no one cares.

Don't ever camp there and, for some strange reason you do, don't bring children. It lists itself as a family campground but it is not. It is a campground where anything goes if you are a friend of relative of the owners but it is scary for anyone else.
