I would not recommend this place at all. Very shady place IMO. ? - ? - Today
Do not buy a vehicle from this place or get it serviced here under any circumstances. My 07 engine failed ,(it was well within the warranty period) and it was denied coverage even though its a certified vehicle with only 27,000 miles on it that doesn't matter to Honda Care or Earnhardt Honda. They said it was because of lack of lubrication , the van had no oil when It failed and left me stranded right across the street from wall mart. The first warning that things were shady at Honda is that the warranty waS SUPPOSED TO COVER A TOW TRUCK  , IT SAYS SO RIGHT ON MY WARRANTY, but the lady said she didnt see that and I would have to payy 66 dollars on the credit card before the driver would take it to Earnhardt honda, the driver came and hour and a half later, I was annoyed but wansnt too mad , but I had no idea the agony that I had in store fron Earnhadt Honda and Honda of america. I wish I would have read rip-off reports or yahoo complaints before I took my vehicle here .After reading the warranty in full I feel like a fool ever buying a Honda , you have to keep immaculate records to even be considered for coverage, and be in a school zone with nuns to ever be covered under any circumstances . They can deny you for any reason at all, and they will deny you believe that. I dont know what caused it to burn oil so fast or whatever but i felt good I had a certified vehicle under wwarranty at least or so I thought . My previous vehicle was a Cadillac that I had a few issues with but they always covered my vehicle and fixed the issue every time I had a problem. I thought buying a Honda was a smart move because the Cadillac was getting up there in miles. I was very wrong , Everything I knew was wrong, Honda does not stand by there vehicle or service at all , and believe me I thought a long time before I purchased a Honda , I am on a fixed income and it was a BIG purchase for me and now I wish i stayed with my Cadillac,  It was one of the worst decisions I have ever made buying the Odyssey. i am going to ruin my credit and let them take the van now. Also keep this in mind if you ever are considering buying a certified honda.
They sell you a vehicle and warranty stating that if you don't use it you get your money back. WRONG! This is the tricky part Honda care is a different company than Honda finance/ and Earnhardt Honda. They all pass the blame on each other and if you really need to be covered under there warranty most likely you will have problems. I've contracted the service manager and GM with no response from either I know that Honda has a good product because I've heard alot of good thing and thats the reason I bought one, but whatever you do do not expect them to cover your warranty and WHATEVER YOU DO DO NOT COME HERE FOR SALES OR SERVICE ! I am in a wheelchair and need my car to goto dialysis and doctors appointments almost daily, and its stuck at EARHARDT HONDA WITH AN 8500 dollar bill. Oh I almost for got , I tried to get help from Honda customer care and a Todd yamagucci called me back and I told him about me being paralyzed and needing the vehicle to go to dialysis and he laughed at me and would not under any circumstances transfer me to a supervisor, if anybody has any advice for me on what to do please help me .  Inherently in life we all make bad decisions that we regret , but over time we get over it and thats life, but this decision could cost me alot more than just money , I really don't know what im gonna do.

We empathize with Mr. Edwards situation and understand that this is a difficult circumstance. However Mr. Edward is not accurately portraying what happened. So please let me set the story straight.

1. Mr. Edward did not purchase his vehicle from us. He bought it from another dealership in the Phoenix valley. We did not tell him that he would get back the full cost on his Honda Care warranty and we feel that it is unfair that he is attempting to hold us accountable for the words and actions of a different dealership.

2. The vehicle did not stop working because there was no oil. This makes it sound like there was an oil leak and all the oil leaked out. There was oil in the vehicle, but it had turned to sludge, which only happens when one doesn't change their oil.

3. You do not have to "be in a school zone with nuns" for American Honda to honor their warranty, but you are required to change the oil when the maintenance minder light appears on your dash. It's a bright orange wrench icon so you can't miss it. Also if you don't bring it to the dealership for maintenance you must keep records of the service done.

Mr. Edwards warns people to not come here for sales or service, but the reality is that we are a 6 time Honda President's Award winning dealership. That means that we are in the top 15% of all Honda dealerships nationwide.

It is unfair for Mr. Edwards to come on here and place all the blame on us and on American Honda when Mr. Edward could not prove that he had performed any of the required maintenances since purchasing his vehicle and all of the evidence suggested that the oil had never been changed since his purchase. Furthermore Earnhardt Honda did not deny his warranty claim. Earnhardt Honda does not provide the warranty and does not decide the warrantability of a claim. American Honda Motor Co. is the provider and servicer for the warranty and they denied his claim after much serious consideration based on the evidence provided. If we could have done anything to make American Honda approve his claim we would have.

Mr. Edward needs to take personal responsibility for his own actions or lack thereof. Honda makes a great vehicle. And we had nothing to do the denial of his service claim.
