Earth Runners sold me a faulty product and ripped me off! Windsor California
I ordered a pair of Earth Runners Circardian X Sandals with the nylon conductive laces for $112. These were the custom molded model. I tried wearing them for a week and after they gave me major blisters and kept slipping off my foot I contacted the company. They asked me to send them pictures of the sandals for fit, and after I did they responded by saying that they were properly fit and to wear them a couple more weeks to try and break them in. I really did not want to do this since they were causing me so much pain, but I liked the idea of the product and really wanted these to fit right.
I then contacted the company a couple weeks later after they gave me even worse blisters. They informed me I should spend another $17 on their leather laces because these would fit better, but I already spent so much money on these sandals and told them I refused to risk spending anymore money on these and I wanted a return. They went back and forth through email trying to up-sell me on these laces, and finally they agreed to accept a return.
I then spent another $15 to mail these back to them. I tried following up about the receipt of the sandals for 2 weeks straight, and then they finally responded to me saying that the sandals were worn too much and they would not refund my money!!!
I tried contacting my credit card company for a return and they informed me that too much time had passed since the sale and they could not refund me either. Now I am stuck with NO SANDALS and LOSS OF MONEY from this scam. I can't believe that the company can get away with this. They told me to try and break these sandals in for fit, and then tell me I wore them too much! I probably wore these a total of 10 times, and they didn't even have that much wear at all.
I give a warning to all that come across this company - Earth Runners is a scam product and their customer service is rude and horrendous! It's a one-man show run by this guy Mike who is making a faulty product out of his garage. BEWARE!
