EARTHLINK/TIME WARNER CABLE Earthlink will not pick up equipment--and is still charging Nationwide
Had Earthlink internet services installed -- installation was done by Time Warner Cable. The installer told me Earthlink would send a mailer for equipment (cable modem) return.
After several months I attempted to cut off service and return equipment. Neither Earthlink or Time Warner would send a mailer. They finally agreed to send a delivery person to pick up modem--however this person did not show up.
My apartment complex has a 24 hr desk--residents do not have keys to outside door and must be buzzed into complex. However, Earthlink/TWC has records noting delivery person could not get into apartment complex.
Earthlink/TWC has made three appointments to pick up their modem. They have either not shown or refused to return equipment after arriving--because they were there for a service call. Earthlink/TWC refuses to send mailer I was told about by installer, will not pickup modem even though they have scheduled three appointments and is still charging me for internet services.
