I purchased a remote control electric golf cart from East Coast Wholesales in April 2007 and it did not work properly from day 1. After many emails and phone calls they finally sent me 2 different replacement parts, which when installed, did not cure the problem.

Since that time I have tried to contact them via email and telephone but they do not respond. They are refusing to honor the warranty! A friend of mine who works for a law firm has sent them several letters and left many telephone messages and emails but they have not responded.

I tried a mediation service offered by ebay and East Coast again did not respond. Complaints to ebay went nowhere. I am now preparing to take them to court.

Caveat emptor! This company is unscrupulous and should be avoided.

This customer has never returned the cart to us for any repairs or replacement.  We emailed them over 10 times and everytime we tried to help him trouble shoot his remote golf cart's problem and he refused help.

We then told him while he was still under his 30 day return wararnty to return and we will replace it for free.  He refused to ship it back.  He demanded we ship him another one before he would return the original package.

These remote golf carts cost over 550.00 dollars so there is no way we can ship another cart out without receiving original back.  This buyer was rude in several emails and absolutely refused to follow warranty guidelines.

Thank you for hearing the truth.
