Parents beware!! This school is a rip off! It is not a school at all! It is a business and your child is nothing but a dollar sign to these people.
When something happens TO your child, you will never know about it unless your child tells you. If you have a child with autism and he or she can not speak, DO NOT leave your child in the care of Barbara Lucas! Your child is not safe!
Last year, an aid slapped an autistic child in the face and nothing was done about it. Why? Because Mrs. Lucas was told by her attorney that if she fired the woman, it would admit guilt and SHE could get sued! Barbara kept the woman right there as if nothing had happen. The same woman also tells the children to "shut up".
