In June 2008, i purchased a pontiac G-6 from the dealership. At first i thought everything was great they were so nice and helpful (i thought). When i went to pick up the car i noticed a small piece hanging down in the front near the tire. i pointed it out to the saleman and he said that they would set up and appointment w/ the repair center in laurel. Not too long after that like on the way home i noticed that everytime i applied pressure to the breaks the car would pull slightly to the left and the right tire sounded almost like a drum when accelerating, therefore i immediately called back and reported the issue.

Needless to say when i showed up for them to take my car and have it looked at, there were a million excuses as to why they couldn't see me today although to my knowledge i had an appointment, atleast that is what the dealership manager told me. I showed up two times after that and the same thing occured, more excuses!
Well i kinda liked the saleman who i dealt w/ when buying the car and he seemed to be on the up and up but now i feel like i was manipulated and deceived. When i became complaining about the situation and calling to speak to the manager, he was never available.

Anyway the last time i spoke w/ him he assured me that the car was being scheduled at their shop in laurel and he apologized for the delay and inconvience because of the time i missed at work going there for nothing. He also said that because they were overloaded w/ appointments because they closed down one of there recon shops, that i would be the first one on the list as soon as all the inventory they had was moved from one place to another. I never received my appointment and after complaining numerous times with no response, i called customer care, only to hear that they are so very sorry but it is nothing they can do because the easterns warranty has expired.

Do i need to tell you how upset i was? I called the dealership, only to hear that their warranty doesn't cover any damage done to the car, it only cover manufacturer defects and i would have to pay out of pocket for an alignment, brake or/and tire repair and any else that may be wrong w/ the car.

I will never go to eastern motors again and i would not recommend it to anyone else either. Try some other dealership first before you get stuck w/ a car that has damaged that is covered up just to be sold.
