Complaint Review: Easton Chemical

Easton Chemical Sends product not ordered, then sends outrageously high invoice. Baltimore, Maryland

Received a phone call at work asking if we use any lightbulbs. I told the man that we order all of our bulbs from bulbs.com. He then asked if we used any cleaning supplies, and I said of course, and he said they had a great deal on liquid cleaner. I ordered none (I would have paid with a credit card at the time if I had placed an order, as I do for all orders from real companies). A box arrived a week later with 4 one gallon containers of cleaner, according to the packing slip on the box - more than we would use in several years - followed by an invoice a week later for $454.00!

No one answers their phone. Just received another invoice 8 months later. I still have the unopened box under my desk because they won't tell me how to return it. I refuse to pay for something I didn't order, wasn't given a price on before I ordered, and from a company I had no prior relationship with. I'd be happy to get the space back under my desk if they would just tell me how to return what I never ordered in the first place and if they would stop trying to collect money I never promised them.
