Easyhome is a complete RippOff. they will wecome you into the store with open arms. but once they get your money it is another story.

So..I went into the store to get a living room set, TV and Beds. I was sold used items which I had no problem with because it was in my budget. I was told that I would have to pay a $25 processing fee to open a account with them. Now all of the items I wanted were to be put on one account so I thought. When easy home got to my home I was told that each item has it's on agreement, So if I was late with a payment I would have to pay $11 per agreement. So that would be a total of $33+ tax. I asked why was each item put on different accounts, I was told that this is the way they keep up with stock. So I make my payment and everything is fine..So I thought.

About a month later I went back into the store to get another item from them, I was told that I would have to pay another processing fee to open up an account, I stated that I already have an account with you why would I need to pay to have another. I was told that the computer system has to open another account because it does not know how to seperate the items that you have. Ok so I paid this but asked a lot of questions.

So the following week my payment was due I called the store to ask how much was my payment I was told an amount that was not what I expected. I asked why they said that my new order was on the same account as my old order. I am like how is that possible when I had to pay $25 to open a new account. They got pissed because I was asking to many questions..So I told them that I had a certain amount of money and asked if they could pick it up..So they get to my house and I ask them to explain to me where my money was going..they wanted to take my money and not apply payments to each item I have..remember each item has it's own agreement. I asked for a statement showing what items would have money applied to them and I was told I could not have that. Which seems odd. If I am paying fro something and I want to know where my money is going I have the right to know. So I was told to read my agreement because I had signeed it and they could do what ever they wanted to do.(which is not true, they need to read it) Each time they would not take the money I wanted to give them because I wanted statements for each Item..

So I wanted to speak to a manager I was told she was out of the office and speaking to her would not make a difference anyway and even if I contacted head office they wouldn't care about what I had to say.

So because I wanted to know where my money was going I was told that my accounts have been terminated and they would be there to pick up the items. Mind you my payment was not Late it was still the due day and I have never been late.

WHATEVER.

Easyhome does not want to show you where your money is going the tell you that each item has it's on account but when you go to pay the give you one amount. you can't go in and say I want to pay for the TV and get a statement of payment. and so on

Is this because they a STEALING your money not applying to the right items. and they don't want you to find out about it. You could think that you are paying down your item but your not and that is how these rental compapnies scam people.

They even charge you for insurance you don't have to get, because it is a hunk of SH*t.

Some how some way rental companies need regulations. They belive that because you come there because you have credit problems they can take advantage and that is not fair.

Easy Home is no different than RENT-A-CENTER in fact this ''NEW'' company from Canada used to be RENTWAY remember them ????? yea that's right EasyHome CEO bought out the Rentway's in Canada and renamed them EasyHome and just change some of the company policies.

Now with that in Mind if you think this Company is here to give you what you need at a low weekly price's think again. Their slogans and sales pitches are all just a cover up to hide the Companies greed if you think im crazy just look at their contract's

for example a 26 inch tv may cost you no more than 400 dollars at your local Walmart But Easyhome will charge you 10 dollars a week at 156 weeks thats 10 x 156= 1560 are you really going to pay that much ????? and don't forget if you miss a payment they will come and take ''THEIR'' tv back regardless of your situation !!!!!!!!

Don't let this company fool you their a RENT TO OWN Company with only Money and profit gains on their mind. They will target low income families using their product to lewer poor families through their doors, They will rent to you in hopes that you miss a payment so they can pick up their product and re-rent it again just imagine they purchase a washer machine for 400 dollars, They rent it to you for 12 dollars a week for 156 weeks that's 1872.00 dollars, now you only keep it for 8 weeks and you miss a payment because you lost your job so they come and pick it up from you, now you already put in 1248.00 of your money into this machine, now since they only paid 400.00 dollars for it they have already made 848 dollars in profit off of it and they will re-rent your machine to another SUCKER and the cycle just keeps going and going and going

Easyhome is a multibillion dollar company that only care about '' PROFIT GAIN '' not YOU !!!

DON'T EVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY !!!!!!!

I have worked for EasyHome since July. I understand you had issues with getting a payment printout? First of all, at any time any customer can ask for a printout of their payment history. It does not require the managers OK, second of all, yes, different items go on different aggreements. We put electronics together, appliances together, furniture together, etc. This is not to make people pay more for late fees, it is to keep the items seperated so that if one needs to return an item, we don't have to close the whole account. Nothing sneaky going on here. Take care now.
