I get a call about a week ago from a company Easy Loan Inc. I asked how the company name was spelled to make sure that they are who they say they are. Of course if you were to look online you will find the company. Anyway, the person I was working with was named Derrick or Derek (you know name with the multiple spellings). After he told me I was eligible he said I would only be paying back $95 a month (which sounded good and I could work with). After all that he asked me to send about $200 to make sure I could make the payments and I would get that back on top of the $5000. I agreed and paid it, thinking that was it. I made the mistake and gave him my information. After that he congratulated me saying I had the money and try to electronically put into my account. After three tries he said that they were unable to transfer money electronically. Then he said that they can transfer money to me by Western Union. Now I would have to fork over $596 to do that but they were able to pay half and I would pay the other half which is $296. By this time I'm supposed to be getting $5000 plus the $600 I gave them. In this process I told them this felt like a scam because any loan company would not make you pay before getting the money. What I found weird about this whole thing was the time frame they kept giving me. When I didn't have the full $296 at hand and was only able to pay portion at a time I was told by Derrick that my account would be on hold until I got the remaining. When I finally did get the remaining and gave him the money my account was conveniently devactivated. Now this time I'm spending more money to a activate this account. In order for me to activate this account I would have to give another $263. Now the account was activated and I did ask if there was anything else I would need to do or would I be spending anymore money, he said no everything was good and could now be getting my money. He also said that someone named Cassandra would be calling me back to give me the codes I need to get my money. When she finally came on the phone she gave me 3 partial codes and said that due to the limitations in my state I would have to pay yet again more money to get the rest of the codes a total of $375 with each code costing a $125 each. That was the last straw. I practically gave them everything I had and then some and still I got nothing for it. They claim that since the money is in my name I still would have to pay the $95 a month. I told them I'm not paying for a loan I never got. The moral is if anyone call you and tell you qualified for $5000 say no. After all this I learned a very valuable lesson. Because I was trying to find a way to catch up on bills I let the money situation get the better of me andbecause of that I lost out on $1100 I could have used for something else. Now I have figure out a way to get my bills paid. This so called company who claim they are not a scam is a big fat lie because if they were a repuable company they would not try to scam as much money as they could from you and on top of that give you a deadline to have the money by.
