Complaint Review: Easybakeware.com

I recently received a package from Gevalia coffee that I did NOT order. I called to cancel the so-called account that was set up for me that appeared on the invoice attached to the box. Their customer service representative told me the account would be cancelled and a refund for LESS than the total amount would be generated. When I demanded an explanation, the customer service person kept telling me it was for taxes that they did not collect. It made no sense.

I called my bank to immediately cancel my credit card. I also asked for a review of recent activity to find out if there was anything else suspicious. The only other strange thing that popped up is a $1.00 charge from 'easybakeware.com.'

I have no idea who runs this company and I've never been on their site before. So I know this is FRAUD. And now I suspect the two organizations are tied together with data sharing.

I'm calling my bank today to dispute both charges and I plan to follow up to file a BBB complaint. I'm not sure if that will do anything to help stop this type of activity, but I hope it makes a difference.
