Easy Home is no different than RENT-A-CENTER in fact this ''NEW'' company from Canada used to be RENTWAY remember them ????? yea that's right EasyHome CEO bought out the Rentway's in Canada and renamed them EasyHome and just change some of the company policies.
Now with that in Mind if you think this Company is here to give you what you need at a low weekly price's think again. Their slogans and sales pitches are all just a cover up to hide the Companies greed if you think im crazy just look at their contract's
for example a 26 inch tv may cost you no more than 400 dollars at your local Walmart But Easyhome will charge you 10 dollars a week at 156 weeks thats 10 x 156= 1560 are you really going to pay that much ????? and don't forget if you miss a payment they will come and take ''THEIR'' tv back regardless of your situation !!!!!!!!
Don't let this company fool you their a RENT TO OWN Company with only Money and profit gains on their mind. They will target low income families using their product to lewer poor families through their doors, They will rent to you in hopes that you miss a payment so they can pick up their product and re-rent it again just imagine they purchase a washer machine for 400 dollars, They rent it to you for 12 dollars a week for 156 weeks that's 1872.00 dollars, now you only keep it for 8 weeks and you miss a payment because you lost your job so they come and pick it up from you, now you already put in 1248.00 of your money into this machine, now since they only paid 400.00 dollars for it they have already made 848 dollars in profit off of it and they will re-rent your machine to another SUCKER and the cycle just keeps going and going and going
Easyhome is a multibillion dollar company that only care about '' PROFIT GAIN '' not YOU !!!
DON'T EVER RENT FROM THIS COMPANY !!!!!!!

lol yea ok so this employee basically just gave a horrible sales pitch !!!! " we will fix your broken merchandise and give you a loaner until your original is ready" yea lady ITS CALL A WARANTEE every store offers it Lowes, Walmart, Home Depot, and so on. She also stated that if your short they'll come pick up your merchandise and hold it until you catch up on your payments !!! what she failed to mention is that if you miss your first payment they can re posses your stuff and close your account out. Not only that they will call every person you put down on your application as a reference lol they wont be discrete about it........ NOW TELL ME DO YOU REALLY WANT PEOPLE CALLING YOUR FRIENDS AND FAMILY because your a day late on payment or a couple of weeks late.
And tell me when was the last time visa or discover card sent some one out to your house to HOLD YOUR MERCHANDISE UNTIL YOU CATCH UP ON YOUR PAYMENTS. lol really guy COME ON !!! if you call your creditors they will work something out with you just like these idiots clam to do.
no matter how you dress it up easy home is a rip off just like rent-a-center like I said before s**t COVERED UP IN SUGAR IS STILL s**t !!!!

I am a leasing specialist for easyhome. Of course it is more expensive to lease a tv then to buy one, but for alot of people, puchasing a t.v is not an option either they dont have $400 available to them or they have poor or no credit.
But you also have to understand that your not just paying $10 for a t.v. Did you know that easyhome will move your product to your new address for you if and whenever you decide to move.this could really come in handy if your renting a washer /dryer or living room set.
They will provide you with a loaner free of charge if yours breaks and needs to be repaired. You can upgrade your product as well. So say you want a 42" t.v instead of a 32", easyhome will add up all the payments youve made to your existing tv and apply a portion of it to your new tv.
Say your short in $$ they will pick up your tv, hold it for a month, then (no additional charge) reopen your account and you will carry on with ur payments from where you left off so you dont lose the money you have invested into the product. Or say you just dont want it anymore, you call them and they will pick it up and close your account no questions asked...
And during all this time, you will have enjoyed using a product that you didnt have to go in debt/ruin your credit rating for.
How about you take out a loan for that same tv (which you'd end up paying the same price if you leased it as easyhome) and tell them your short this month and you need them to pick up and hold the tv for you until you could resume payments... how do you think that conversation would go with them ? Or what if it breaks on you.. you'd have to pay a couple hundred dollars yourself to get it fixed..
All the benefits that go along with easyhome, I definitely think its worth the extra $$ And if you look hard enough, you might even find some excellent deals. You can always ask them if they have any items for cash sales. I always list our clearance items on kijiji.ca.
