Easylife Furniture Sold bogus furniture insurance plan murrieta, California
Purchased a dining table set with four chairs and a sectional couch with suede. We payed addtional money to have the suede treated to repel stains, the salesman even demonstrated how well it worked by dipping a piece of "treated cloth" into red wine and Wahla - no stain. We then paid an extra $169 to have the furniture insured for stains, rips and accidental damage; being told that it included even if our kids put a knife through the sofa.
Well the time came when I had to report some accidental damage to our table, chairs and stains on our couch. Turns out absolutley NOTHING was covered.
After filing a claim with Guardian (which took almost one hour) the representative explained that nothing is covered, not even the stains because the 5 stains I reported were considered "excessive". The stains all came from a party we had which was exactly the pitch from the Easylife salesman.
Bottom line: Easylife lied to sell us a bogus insurance plan and Guardian insurance is nothing more than a big ripp-off.
My advice: Don't shop at Easylife and certainly don't buy Guardian Insurance.
