I saw an ad on Craigslist for a 2004 Nissan Maxima for $2000 and so I contacted the person by text and asked how many miles was on the car.  The person texted me back saying he put the ad on Craigslist for his Aunt and gave me her email address and said if I needed any information to contact her.  So I wrote an email to her asking about the miles. l got this reply:

Hello,

I'm replying you regarding the 2004 Nissan Maxima SE Performance that I have for sale. The condition of the car is excellent, no mechanical problems, very well maintained, never wrecked or involved in an accident, title clear under my name, no liens, nor loans , 62,431 miles, 3.5 V6 engine, FWD , automatic, always garaged and you can find the pics attached.
I am selling it for $2,000. Because of my divorce settlement, I own this car and I don`t need it, so I'm trying to sell it asap. I gave the vehicle to eBay shipping company in Houston, TX  who will deliver it to the next owner. The transaction will be made through eBay for our own safety. The best part about this is that you'll get 5 days of inspection and shipping for free. If you're interested in purchasing it just e-mail me your full name and shipping address so I can initiate the deal through eBay and they will contact you to explain the entire procedure.

 Regards,

 Jessica Wilks!

I wasn't sure about it at first so I looked to see if there was an Ebay warehouse in Houston that would ship cars and there was. I sent her another email explaining I had never done this how does it work.  In the 5 days I have to inspect the car if there was any mechanical problems could I return it.  I got this reply:

'll do my best to walk you through the process. The car is at the shipping company in Houston, TX,  sealed and ready for shipping. I have a contract with ebay so this deal must go through them.
According with ebay you have 5 days from the time you receive the car to inspect it and decide if you want to keep it or not.
Here is how it will work:
First of all,I will forward them your info
They will process your info and send both of us invoices. On the invoice you will find all the instructions on how to complete the transaction.
Once the payment is completed the shipping process will be started( on my cost I repeat). After you receive the car you will have 5 days to test and verify it.

If you decide to keep the vehicle, ebay will release the money to me and our transaction is complete.
If, by any reason, you won't be satisfied with the car ( even though I can assure you that it is exactly as described), you can return it at my expense for a full refund of your money, no questions asked.

If you agree, get back to me with your full name and shipping address and I will get everything started immediately.
All you will need to do is follow through with their guidelines. You will receive along with the vehicle all it's papers, documents and manuals.
I'll need a prompt answer from you!
Thank you!

Then I sent another email and got this reply: Me

I've never done anything like this before can you send me something to prove this is not a scam?

Jessica:

eBay will send you the necessary information to verify that everything is legit.

Then I get an email from Ebay Motors:

Don't be so stupid as to buy a USED CAR sight unseen on the internet!  I see common sense isn't your strong point!
