Complaint Review: Ebay

Here is one for the books!  
Ebay RIP OFF.    If you are a Ebay Seller  you should never sell outside your own country.

This is what happened to me.     I went and sold a cell phone on Ebay.   A  HTC Inspire.

The sale date was march 6, 2012.   I shopped the item out on March 8th. 

I still have a copy of the US customs form with the  name and address of the buyer.  Which Match 
the same address  and name  the buyer provided to paypal for shipping.

Well  about a month later the guy decides to  file a case with Ebay stating he never received his ITEM

I contacted Ebay  and the woman who answered the phone said that they do not offer seller protection.   Unfortunately when you ship something over seas using the Post Office  they dont have a way to track the item. 
The only thing they offer is a  Us Customs form number.

They said unless I have a signature or a proof of delivery  that  I am screwed basically..  
Now I am out  almost 200 USD.

 Refunded by eBay    that means   They took money out of my paypal to refund the buyer.

I have shipped to Europe in the past with out any problems..   I have even shipped to Asia  IE Japan once  no problems what so ever.        After 45 days  if a buyer  Claims he or she did not receive an item  Ebay will refund the buyer.     And if they live  over seas you have no way of  delivery confirmation  unless you use UPS or Fed X   which they charge  a very high price to ship over seas  unless its US and Canada..  

Between Ebay and the Ukrainian buyer  I have been Ripped off!

Dont do business with  the above listed  or you could be the next victim of a ripoff!    I know I was.
