Hi,

It's 2006, you think it's now safe buying on
eBay? Think again.

I've recently been scammed twice on eBay, for a total financial loss of $2734.66. Although eBay has a purchase protection program (which I think is a joke since they only reimburse up to $175 [$200 - $25 service charge] in each incident), that means I have still lost $2384.66.

I believe eBay should provide much higher coverage in these cases since their marketplace provides a breeding ground for these ripoffs. In fact, at the time of this writing, one seller still has an auction running! And the other seller's account has been restored after it's proven at least 4 buyers have be scammed!

In total these 2 sellers stole more than 15 thousand dollars from their buyers. It's too easy for scammers to operate on eBay. Armed with a rented mailbox, these criminals have made so much money, tax free!

This particular report is to make everyone aware of eBay's grossly lacking buyer protection program and flaws in their system allowing scams to continue EVEN after they have been reported.

I will submit 2 additional rip off reports specifying the two actual eBay sellers who have scammed me and other buyers.

I sincerely wish someone out there can further help me expose this situation to the public so others do not have to go through what we have gone through.

thanks and regards,

Der
