I won the bid and ordered a DVD box set of a vintage TV series from goodpatty2010 on eBay on December 26 and paid on December 27. I got an email sayingthe product was shipped on December 27 and should arrive between January 4 - 11, 2011.

To date I have not received the order and the seller will not respond to emails. I have to file a claim with eBay which takes forever.

Stay away from this seller. Scammer!

This is not really a rebuttal but a note that eBay took care of this problem in 7 days through their Resolution Center. I had a full refund on the 8th day.

This is from Sweden so most likely there is no confirmation or insurance. However I believe there should have been a declaration form the seller needed to fill out at the Post Office. Did this seller forward you this information which would confirm at least something was shipped to you?

I have family in Norway and sometimes in can take a month or more from when something is shipped to when it arrives regardless of "expected" time of arrival. If the seller can not produce any proof of shipping you will get a refund via the dispute process but correct, it will take some time. It the seller can prove it was shipped this can present a problem as it is not the sellers fault if the P.O./shippers lost or stole it.

If this comes down to a dispute another factor you have on your side is the fact that the seller is not responding to emails. Just make sure you are emailing this seller through the resolution center so there is evidence..you don't want time to run out and then you will have little to no recourse.
