EBay Motors - Alex Harton - Joanrodrlguez92 ripoff Internet
I found a 2000 Nissan Maxima SE on Craig's List.com for $3500. I contacted the seller, which was told he was from the Dallas, TX area but had moved to Sweeden and had this car but could not registar it in Sweeden and needed to sell it. He sent me several e-mails telling me how to process the deal. He provided pictures and the VIN number.
I ran the car fax report and contact the guy via e-mail to start the deal. He told me to wire $3500.00 via Money Graham or Western Union, which I did, and that the money would be held in escrow by eBay Moters and eBay motors would deliver the car within 5 days.
We received seveal e-mails from eBay moters telling us we were protected against any fraud, and that they had the funds and would start the process of the car.
Well, the car never arrived, and I tried to find phone numbers for eBay Motors but was not able to find one. I called Money Graham and they confirmed the money was wired to Sweeden and that it had been picked up the very next day.
I tried to contact the seller in Sweeden but the phone number no longer worked.

Ebay Motors has nothing to do with Craigslist. You were scammed and they sent falsified emails to you by cutting and pasting an actual real Ebay email into one to you. This can always be verified by logging into ebay and looking at your message folder in your account.
You will have a hard tiime getting any resolution to this

im not sure if you have read about it on craigslist scams but im so sorry to hear about your situation. if it has anything to do with wiring, western union - most likely it is a scam. and the emails from ebay should be fraud also. you can always contact ebay, you will know if its real if the messages appear in your ebay messages and not just your email. must be so stressful to be in this situation
