EBay Motors Vehicle Purchase Protection: Stanley Johnson: Stanley2544@comcast.net
Car add on Craiglist responded to the add through e-mail:
Car was below book price - that should have been first sign.
Seller was very convincing on why he was selling so cheap sent 20 differant pictures of the car and how the transaction would take place through the "eBay Vehicle Protection Plan" Received invoice from this site, looked very legitimate with instructions on the transfer of funds by a "Money Gram".
The money would be held till I received the car and inspected then I would release the funds to the seller through the "eBay Customer Support".
After I transfered the funds I was to receiving a shipping confirmation instead received an e-mail from the eBay Customer Support needing more money transfered due to shipping problems. At that point I ask for a refund and called Money Gram the money had already been released and there was nothing I could do.
Have not heard a word from eBay or the seller since.

Which 'eBay'?

Which one are you waiting to hear from? The real eBay or the 'scam ebay'? The real eBay will probably get around to telling you that they have nothing to do with it - and they don't. The 'scam ebay' will probably only ask for more money and then they will disappear. In case you haven't figured it out yet....you were scammed and will not be getting any money back.
