I have sold items on an infrequent basis on Ebay before, i have a 100% rating on there. They started holding peoples funds a few years ago and i was told it was only on large transactions.

Then i recently sold an item and they are holding my funds again because there is no delivery confirmation, although the individual purchasing the item has left positive feedback and liked the item very much. The amount they are holding is $48.25 after their fees. Not a lot of money, but there BS just keeps changing, and if i was able to hold millions of dollars for 2+ weeks just think of the interest i would make.

What a bunch of crooks, stay away, use another auction site or sales site. Plus their customer service is all over seas how are they helping the american economy, not.

This is something to consider before selling

This is a very stupid policy and the very reason I stopped selling expensive items. For some reason Paypal will randomly select random transactions that they deem suspicious and its done by the computer so imagine selling an item for $5,000 and then ship it off with delivery confirmation and have it froze for 2 weeks. So you are looking at your money and can't spend it. And if you spend it before they freeze it they will take everything in your bank account and rack up non-refundable nsf fees. So its not worth it to me and not biusness friendly.
