Ebay seller, Frank Raeman, sold me a fake badge on Ebay and never refunded payment. Ripoff! Maldegem BELGIUM Internet
The item received was not an original WW2 RAF Pathfinder wing but a modern RAF cap badge. I contacted the seller by email but without response, then by telephone and he agreed to refund the payment of $50 + $5 shipping. First he said he would credit my PayPal account, this was not done. Then I contacted him again by email and he said he would send a cash refund. This was not done.
Finally he asked for my bank details and promised to transfer the funds as he wanted to protect his credibility. This was not done. I sent Frank Raeman a final email requesting payment without response. I then asked for mediation via Square Trade on Ebay. This resulted in stalemate.
First Frank Raeman stated that he had sent a refund by registered mail, later he changed this to so-called Priority mail. After checking with local postal authority no record was found of any such mail. When asked to supply details of postage Frank Raeman did not respond.
To date nothing has been received, neither a reply or payment.
$55 may not seem like much but this is a matter of principle.

Never give out your bank account # to anyone!!!!
#2Consumer Suggestion

You should never have giving out any info about your bank account. Especially to someone who is already ripping you off. I would check my account for any transactions that you have not made and then close the account and open a new one. Someone could be setting back just waiting for the balance to go up before they empty it. They already have the key to open the door, you gave it to them.
Best wishes,
