Ebay Success System Or Eauction Success System rip off scam artists Internet
I, too, was taken in by these people (and I use the term loosely). I ordered their $1.95 disk, decided it wasn't for me. Too many red flags came up. I then tried to cancel, but only got a blank page for the web site, no one answered when I called-only got crappy music full of static.
Two days later, I noticed a $9.95 charge from "online service" and a $39.95 charge from "ebay web". Called my debit card company (cause I was now overdrawn) and got a phone number for the 9.95 charge. After 10 minutes of more crappy music static, a lady did come on the line. I could barely understand her and she finally put me through to "Heather" which took another 10 - 15 minutes. When I told "Heather" that I did not authorize these charges, she argued that I did and told me about some e-mail they sent me. I have no such e-mail in my inbox. She claims I signed up for some services and that's what I was billed for. I basically told her that she was full of it and that I only ordered the 1.95 disk, that I didn't authorize anything else and that I wanted her to cancel everything with my name on it and demanded a refund of the two charges. She did cancel my "account", but refused any refunds. She also didn't believe me when I told her there was no web site and the first number I called wasn't a working number. After arguing with her for @ 15 minutes and telling her about other people who were scammed by them, I hung up on her as I was getting nowhere.
I then had to cancel my debit card and will have to make reports to them so they can investigate. I may also contact the Better Business Bureau. So now I'm out $50.00 and no access to my bank account for a week. I advise people to not get sucked into this company. They'll rip you off big time.
