Complaint Review: EBC Computers

If all you lost was $7.00 Dollars consider you're self lucky EBC Computer has a strong policy if it doesnt work The customer Broke it. The will do anything to weasle out of any refund or any thing they have told a customer. I personaly would not buy a cardboard box From this company!

I build an average of around 100 computers a year and have worked in this field since 1985 When I first discoverd EBC Computers I loved there prices I would look up the part numbers and have the customer go to EBC purchase their parts so they were able to do the warranty registration!

Then I would assemble them and charge a flat fee! this seemed like a good idea at first! however there will always be a precentage of failure And this is where my headache began i had customers calling me because ebc warranty policy is worthless the forget to tell you that after 15 days you have to send it back to the manufacure at your expense they have an extended warranty policy but its just as worthless they will insist it is your fault the final straw for me was an amd xp athlon that just died after 4 months took it back with its so called extended warranty. The clown behind the counter pushed the outer edge pins in with his fingers while trying to clean the thermal grease off then tried to hand it back to me saying i had done it so the warranty was void after we both had seen the cpu pins were fine when i handed it to him i had so many customers pissed off at me im suprised i didnt end up on Ripoffreport.com!

There are alot of computer companies in Saltlake/west valley who will match or beat there prices if you take in a current price list! and you will get a decent warranty besides. you may save a few dollars to start but if there is a problem youre on youre own so go to a company that will stand behind there products

And to hell with the idiots at EBC
