Ecampus.com Textbook Buyback ecampus.com ,marketplace Did Not Pay Me For Books Sold To Individual Buyers...THEFT! Internet
I signed up on ecampus.com for their marketplace so I could sell my college textbooks to private buyers using ecampus.com as a 3rd party payment. Here's the process:
1. I list my textbooks to be sold
2. A buyer purchases my textbook(s)
3. I ship my textbook(s) to the buyer (confirmation/tracking # included)
4. ecampus is supposed to mail me a check depending on the time the book was ordered. Either after the 1st of the month or the 15th. My checks for two of the books that I sold should have been processed and mailed.
But wait...ecampus states the check are USUALLY sent within 5 days of the 15th or 1st.
Well here it is the 20th and no information in my account states when the check will be mailed. I have contacted ecampus.com by email several times requesting information on the status of my payment (they do not have a telephone # available to talk to someone regarding the marketplace).
The following is the emails back and forth (notice how they give me the same response except in their last response the used bolded letters and increased fonts in some words). READ BELOW

USUALLY mailed out in 5 business days means WHAT??? What could possibly hold up the process on completing payment to ME? You have received your money from the individual buyers and they have received the books that I sent! I want to know WHEN a check will BE ISSUED and SENT to ME! Your company may rip other customers off, but you have chosen the wrong customer! I have already reported your company to the Kentucky Better Business Bureau and will be contacting a lawyer next if I do not receive my check or an explanation as to WHY a payment has not been processed to me!
Furthermore, in addition to your poor customer service your use of BOLDED letters and enlarged FONT is abrasive and rude. These emails will be sent to BBB and also posted on each review website letting other potential customers know that you are a defraudelent company who steals from clients!!

I have reported this fraudulent, theiving company to the Kentucky Better Business Bureau and plan on talking with a lawyer. Given that I am not the only one who has been ripped off by this company, I believe a strong case can be built against them. I also plan on starting a group on Facebook and starting a petition. If you have had any negative experiences with this company as well, in terms of non-payment please email me at mommyceita13@hotmail.com for more info regarding the petition. Thanks!
