This company Economic Freedom Corp contacted me and stated they had a unique work at home business opportunity to offer. They stated that they represented Visa and Mastercard, and would I be interested in a license or franchise opportunity representing those companies in something called merchant services. They said all I would need is $495.00 and also a monthly website fee which I could put on a credit card. If I was unhappy at all they offered a money back guarantee. Since I am physically and mentally challenged, I thought it sounded foolproof. I was excited.
Within the next day or two, I received a phone call from Mr. Nathan Page, or so he said. He said to participate in the credit card business, I should purchase telemarketing leads, which would significantly improve my income, and he gave choices of three different levels of investments, five, ten, or fifteen thousand dollars worth. He said it was a guaranteed investment, and that if it didn't work out, the company had a huge slush account and I could get my money back. I agreed based on what I was told and said I would try it. I know I sound stupid and naive, but they are a bunch of smooth talkers and rip-off artists, and it can't be just me who fell for it.
Needless to say, I am now out my full investment, plus the program fee, and plus the monthly website fee. I've called all of their phone numbers provided, get nothing but voicemail, and noone returns my calls. I have reported them to the Better Business Bureau of Arizona, and also to the Arizona Attorney Generals Office.

Good you got a settlement. I know of Many who are ot so lucky.
Check out this 3 on your side news report of a month ago. The report is grossly understating the extent of the SCAM. I know of close to a hundred victims, and it is Nation wide.

I wonder just how many got ripped off?? I have a list of around 60, but know this is nation wide?? How can they keep it going? Latest was 200 bmw winners...actually earn $600./mo. to make the payment...and we know what happens after they sign someone up = NOTHING but run around grief...I sure hope it returns on them big time.
John Hanson of web4amer lied to me many times as well as did Justin Johnson Of EFC. They are the highest I got to only a couple of times. A Mrs. Strange is the latest one refusing to admit to their condoning Fraudulent sales tactics, and zero follow through for over a year. In a way I am afraid of dealing with these people as they HARM a lot of good people in a BIG way ---- and the families involved --- and they do not give a darn about the damage they do as long as their pocket and the corporation's is fattening off the blood, sweat, and tears of MANY.
Does anyone know the names of the real owners these days as they keep changing names and addresses?
80 to 90 yr. old victims that do not know how to post to complaint boards are prime victims.....PREY to these bottom feeders.

I would like to update my original rip-off report on Economic Freedom Corp. I received several phone calls from the company and we settled on a mutual compromise. After settling, I agreed to drop the complaints with the Better Business Bureau and the Arizona Attorney Generals office.
