Please note: This is NOT an attack on MLM / Network Marketing, just a bad MLM company.

My wife and I became involved with Ecoquest in July of 2007 after answering an ad on Careerbuilder.com about a "Christian" business seeking "managers". We were sold on the product & business model and immediately set to work chasing a dream that few people achieve with this particular company.

After over a year of very hard work, thousands of dollars invested (wasted), 30-40 hours of time spent at night and on weekends building our business and downline; The net result is this: Ecoquest got several thousand dollars in sales from our efforts and we are in the hole to the tune of about $2700 bucks.

The biggest reason not to get involved with ecoquest is this: The flagship product the "Fresh Air" machine retails for around $750. They are grossly overpriced, and are extremely difficult to sell when you consider that at any given time there are about 200 or so brand new units being unloaded on ebay for hundreds of dollars cheaper. These units were most likely purchased by folks who signed up with ecoquest and bought 1 unit or a "success pack" of 3 to 5 units to retail.

In summary, If you want to stick with this company and make a large income I suppose it is possible over time; If you don't mind doing so by trading on the blatant misrepresentations of the company and the broken dreams of those you bring into the business.

It saddens me that the name of Christ is dragged through the mud by unscrupulous companies like ecoquest that use the label "Christian" as a marketing tool; and that so many good people fall victim to them.
