I bought the following from eCOST.com for my daughter so she would have a ATSC receiver.

Westinghouse Digital
32" LCD HDTV w/ Built-In DVD Player and Dual HDMI
Part #: WSTG SK-32H590D-A

I plugged it in, auto-programmed it, and then it locked up and would not respond. Finally, I had to remove the power from the TV to get the TV to reset.

Afterwards, It came back on and it worked enough for me to check that all the channels were programmed.

The next day when we tried to use it, the TV locked up for good.

It will not come back to life beyond showing us a blue light above the DVD player.

Being an idiot, I put a DVD in to see if it was in DVD mode and now I cannot get the DVD out of the player. (does anyone know a way to manually eject the DVD?)

I would like to have this TV replaced or return it for a refund or credit since it was DOA but eCOST said that because it was refurbished I had to deal directly with Westinghouse.

Beyond being the worst customer service I ever encountered, shipping a known defective product to a consumer and not resolving the issue is consumer fraud.

I would caution anyone against dealing with this Texas company......

Caveat emptor!
