I came across an ad for an opportunity to send faxes form home and be paid 25 cents for each fax that I sent out. I figured that I would try it out after being in touch through email and phone with Mr. Ed Bahl. He is the owner. I paid the fee of $19.95 to join and received the info in my email and began working. I worked for one whole week finding fax numbers and sending them per the instructions that I was given. At the end if the week, I sent my fax confirmation form so that I would be paid on that following Monday morning, via Paypal. On Monday I was not paid. This was back on July 16th. Today is now August 22nd and I have yet to be paid by Mr Bahl. He has however given lots of excuses as to why I have not been paid and he even had the ordasity to send me an email to join another money maker, that would fill his pocket with a minimum of $500 from me. Needless to say, I did not join. But after requesting several times that I be paid, I figured that I would come here so that others might not fall for the same.

Please BEWARE when dealing with ED BAHL AND RESTAURANT MENUS 4U.

Bart,

"Dumb A**" is two words for your future reference. Although in the "Red Neck" dictionary it is one word. In the future be a real man and email me your phone number. You have mine if you'd like to call me.

As the posts states - it was an observation. And a humerous one at that.

You proudly stated:
"4) Out of over 300 participating individuals in the program, she is the only one that registered a complaint. What does that tell you?"

Which is a question in itself.
However, what it tells me is that you have allegedly only ONE person that has contacted you and over 299 that have not.
It is not too difficult to determine who this ONE person is to settle the dispute amicably, as you put it, without them putting their own personal information on the web since they have contacted you already about this and you would have their information - unless you lied and there are far more that have called and complained and just not found a site like this one yet to express their displeasure. That's all.
Good luck with the alleged lawsuit.

I am the OP and I don't understand why Mr. Bahl thinks that I am hiding since I will not publish my last name and phone here? To me that is being just plain smart. This is a public forum and who knows what kind of people can access it. So to prove a point that I was ripped off, I am supposed to place myself in danger by giving my name and phone number?? I think not. If you feel that is hiding, then that would be your issue, but I will not subject myself to the "internet predators" that lurk in cyberspace.

Furthermore, how am I slandering your company when I am just telling my experience with your company? I said that I had not been refunded or paid the monies promised. That is true.

I stated that after the program was 'temporarily' suspended, I was sent another solicitation for another program. This is true also. However, what I can not understand is, if I supposedly broke the rules the first time, why would you solicit me for another program?

I am not slandering you. I have not said anything that was untrue in my dealings with you.

Bart,

I don't know who you are, and frankly I do not care. Did you have a real question or did you just feel like voicing an opinion for the hell of it. In any case I'm done with this allegation. I'll let the attorneys handle it from here.

In your orginal rebuttal to the OP, you state that out of an allegedl 300 people, she is the only one to file a complaint. You then state that:

"Since Melissa is unwilling to publish her full name and phone number in her reply I can only assume that she is unwilling to confront her malicious allegations in person."

If she is the only person to complain, isn't it kind of easy to figure out who she is or are there that many more that you won't admit to and can't keep up with?

We can settle this amicably or in court

#15REBUTTAL Owner of company

As much as I hate to use attorneys to settle disputes, it appears that this is what I must resort to. I have spent years building a solid business reputation. I am not about to have some immature individual taint that reputation. Since Melissa is unwilling to publish her full name and phone number in her reply I can only assume that she is unwilling to confront her malicious allegations in person.

To answer her question regarding the inactive link, the web site was taken down as the "offering" is no loner valid. There are strict FCC rules regarding commercial faxing. Melissa was one of the first individuals to BREAK our procedures and the FCC rules. As a result we had no choice but to discontinue our offering.

So, now I have the dubious task of pursuing litigation against Melissa? for slandering my reputation and my business. I will post the results on this web site as I have nothing to hide.

Melissa (? Last Name), hope you have found another "work at home" opportunity as you will need the extra income to pay the attorney you will soon need.

Anyone who is reading this can certainly contact me directly at 303.877.6567 or by email at edbahl@restaurantmenus4u.com. Unlike Melissa (? Last name), I have nothing to hide.

1) This idividual was refunded the $19.95 she paid through PayPal.
2) This individual FAILED to follow the explicit instuction regarding 'faxing'
3) This individual was electronically sending out faxes which is referred to as 'Fax Blasting'. This procedure violated our procedures and we repeatedly requested her to stop. She did not and we terminated her account for voilating our procedures.
4) Out of over 300 participating individuals in the program, she is the only one that registered a complaint. What does that tell you?

1. I was NEVER refunded. I asked several times, but my money was never refunded to me. What I was told was that I had to request the refund through paypal. Why do I need to go through paypal, when I was speaking diectly with the owner? I was told that I would not be getting a refund as he was offering a different program.

2. Explicit Directions????? Once I signed up for the program, there was 1 page of non-detailed instructions that I did follow. Once the program, was stopped and revised, then directions were given, I never sent another fax, because I had not been paid per the "explicit instructions".

3. I was Personally never asked to stop anything. Supposedly, everyone that was a member of this program received the same email about they were having some server issues and that once things got back on track, everyone would be paid. The program never got on track. But Mr Bahl did send out other emails for other programs he was promoting. Were he would get paid and take money from others without paying first what was owed.

4. Just because no one else complains, does not mean that you are not ripping people off. All it means it that people do not think that $19.95 is alot of money to make a stink about. If 500 have read this report and only 300 people remain with you, then that means that you are treating some people fairly, instead of treating everyone fairly. Also it took the owner of the company almost 3 months to find this report, I filled it on 8/22/07 he responded on 11/19/07. So just because other people have not filled a report does mean anything but, they may not know the site is here.

It is also funny that the web address that I was sent with my starter kit no longer works. That is the link to the "explicit Directions". So if I did nothing wrong and Mr. Bahl has nothing to hide, why is the link non working? I can provide this link upon request.

The individual that filed the complaint above left out some critical facts for obvious reasons.

1) This idividual was refunded the $19.95 she paid through PayPal.
2) This individual FAILED to follow the explicit instuction regarding "faxing"
3) This individual was electronically sending out faxes which is referred to as "Fax Blasting". This procedure violated our procedures and we repeatedly requested her to stop. She did not and we terminated her account for voilating our procedures.
