I leased a car from Ed Bozarth Chevrolet and received the worst customer service in BOTH the sales and service departments.

When I brought my car in for the repair (window not shutting) I walked into the garage and was completely ignored. Then they had to order a part, they let me know after keeping my car two days and not calling me. My attempts to call the garage were met with "yea, we'll have him call you back".

I was finally given a rental on the third day although I had to wait two hours to be shuttled another thirty minutes to the rental place, wait another hour for the rental car, then drive home at 7pm. I finally took my car home to "wait for the part" figuring I might as well drive it while the part was located. They said they would call me when it arrived.

Two months later I went to the dealership to see if the part was there. It was on the floor collecting dust, yes they had my current phone number. Mmmm. I got the window fixed after becoming quite nasty and demanding it be done by 2pm. Not only was it done by noon, but there were some new tools left in the seat. Of course, I returned them.

When I turned in my lease, I really wanted to trade up , but had reservations with the service department. To give Ed a second chance ("everyone has a bad day") I bought a used car and turned in my leased car. Of course, it was the normal rush and get the financing, clean out the old car, get the new one etc.

I thought the salesman was honest and was "amazed" at how smoothly everything went. I kept asking about this crack I had in the window as I thought I should have the insurance company fix it before I turned in the leased car. I still had two months on the lease, plenty of time. Jim and Brandon said they would take care of everything, not to worry about the crack. Jim even acted like he had looked at the crack, and no it wasn't excessive.

Consumers beware when turning in a lease to BE PRESENT when it is done and have someone sign off on it. Ed Bozarth is not qualified to do the lease inspection, this is something I was lead to believe. The lease inspection (for excessive wear and tear) is up to an independent agency or GMAC.

You would think if a dealership leased a car they would be able to inspect it when the lease is up; this is NOT TRUE! Yesterday I got a bill from the leasing company for excessive wear and tear on the car. I took it in to discuss with Jim. He denied saying "not to worry about it", said Ed Bozarth had "nothing to do with the car", it was GMAC car etc.

It was my word against his and I did not receive any compensation. I asked an attorney about trying to just give the new car back as I don't want to do business with them any longer and it is passed 30 days now so I cannot return the new car. The lease bill for the crack was not that large, I felt we could have at least split it 50/50. The money is not the issue, but just the dishonesty saddens me. Why lie to the consumer? Was it really that big of deal to buy the car that day, "drive it off the lot"? I know I could've been more persistent, but I want to see the good in everybody, not judge by title, etc. Good Luck!

I am curious as to what kind of car was repaired here. I too had a window fixed at a pricey $400 dollars. Days later the window was again off the track some one even broke into my car stealing my stereo through this window that would not roll up properly. I called the dealership but they claim the theft had nothing to do with the faulty work they had done on my window. They now no longer return my calls. I am actually back on the market for a new car I will NOT go back to Ed Bozarth!
