Complaint Review: Eddie's Home Services

Eddie's Home Services is the biggest ripoff I have seen.  He overcharges his customers, does shoddy  work and has been kicked off job sites for work performance/quality of work.  He talks to customers as if he is so far above them that it is ridiculous.  He is beligerant on the phone to anyone he talks to.  He insists on talking on speaker phone thinking it makes him a big man.  He lies to customers about everything.  If I were in need of a remodeler/handyman, I would never hire this company.

Additionally, he does not like to pay his employees for any number of reasons and comes up with elaborate stores not to pay his employees.  I know this personally and this and the way he talks to his employees is the reason he cannot keep staff for any length of time.  Everyone who has worked for him filed for unemployment to try to obtain back wages that were owed to them.  No former employee has anything good to say about him.  When he does manage to pay employees, he likes to do stop payments on their checks, so in reality they are not paid at all.  He owes employees money but they will never see it.
