Eddie Wenrick or Edward Wenrick is not someone we recommend anyone do business with as an music artist or otherwise.  He took considerable funds from us to promote and "push" our client who has starred on a popular singing TV show ( i.e. Amercian Idol, America's Got Talent ) and after months of really no progress claimed it was our fault and turned his back.

He commonly uses the guise of "consultant" so that he is not obligated to accomplish anything he promises to do and collects money from clients with little or no results.  He often uses his one active client Alex Boye to convince people he can do what he says he can do, of which we could not verify the active radio or music chart status of Alex Boye and/or what if any involvement Eddie Wenrick has had.

It is our strong opinion that any artist or music company should steer clear of working with Eddie Wenrick and never give him any money.  He is just another person to avoid in the parasitic entertainment indsustry.

BMI has logged numerous complaints and does not condone this type of fraudulent behaviour towards music artists.

I haven't been in touch with Eddie Wenrick for a couple of years and was looking online for an address to send him a holiday card and found this review. I am not mentioned in the initial review, however, one of my videos is used in one of the comments. I am the Executive Producer of Global Stars Network and I have been acqualnted with Eddie Wenrick for many years. He is an amazing, stand up kind of guy with incredible experience and massive contacts in the music industry.

For almost 25 years, I have been in the entertainment industry as a talent agency owner, model and talent convention/showcase producer and have produced events across the country and am partially responsible for many success stories of models, actors and performers who have done well in the industry. I say 'partially' because it takes very hard work and lots of perserverance to be successful and I certainly have not done as much work as 'my' kids have done to make it in this business. I can guide and instruct, but the talent have to do the work.

The same can be said of Eddie Wenrick. He has the contacts to make you successful if you do the work, but no one can help you if you don't listen and take advantage and actually do the work. I don't know the person who wrote this report initially, but I can tell you that for every one that listens and does the work, there are ninety-five complainers that want to blame others for their lack of success. Nothing will be handed to you in this world and everything will be EARNED! (Unless it's from a government, of course, and they took that by force from someone else!)

So when I saw this report, I had to jump in. If I were a young man again and were passionate about a career in the entertainment industry and had the chance to work with Eddie Wenrick as an artist, I will tell you what I would do. I would sit at this man's feet and LISTEN to every word he says and go out and DO exactly what he has asked me to do to be successful.

From MY PERSPECTIVE, that would work to get me noticed in this highly competitive industry. I love this man and appreciate his experience, contacts and his passion for developing performers. Eddie Wenrick is absolutely incredible, in my opinion, and this person does not have any understanding of what kind of an opportunity has been presented to them - to work with, literally, an icon in the intertainment industry.

Eddie is a dear person. He has worked with industry giants but is too humble to call himself one of them. Yes, ex VP of A&R for Columbia Records under the huge umbrella of Sony Records.  They don't hire fakes. He has managed famous movie stars and musicians for a long time.  Yes, look at his Forbes write up. A friend of Akon.  This guy is big time.  If you don't work your butt off and blow away the public, you have no chance.  You have a great chance if you listen to his counsel and advice and it's well worth it!  Seriously?

Hello. My name is Jim Fowler. I have had the pleasure of knowing and working for Eddie Wenrick for going on 25 years now. I first came to meet Eddie when he attended a lecture at Full Sail Center for the Recording Arts as a guest lecturer for Al Schlesinger's Music Business seminar given there. After my graduation from Full Sail I was hired and used by Eddie during his tenure at Concerts West. Eddie took me under his wing, and taught this greenhorn much about the music industry as a whole.

Eddie is simply one of the best men that I have ever had the chance to come to know in the music industry as a whole. As many years that I have been involved with him, I have never heard of anyone saying one bad word about him.

The music industry in itself is full of leaches that in fact will suck an artist dry if they so let them, and I assure you that Eddie is simply not one of them.

I have had the pleasure of working with Eddie on many fledgling bands and acts that he has had the experience of managing throughout the years that I have known him. I have never ever once had any complaints from any of them whatsoever. I have worked in the capacity of Tour Manager for many of those artists, and if they had concerns about Eddie or his business practices, I would have certainly heard about their concerns.

I have known Eddie to hold many key positions in very high places within many of the top labels and companies in the industry. To the best of my knowledge, those key organizations would not have become the power houses that they are by hiring scabs into positions of upper level management.

In this report about him, the author stays mainly anonymous. They never mention which show they were part of, nor do they mention any particulars of the supposed rip off scam. All they list vague accounts about supposed issues that may or not be true.

If someone had really been ripped off for what they are claiming, by all means they would have and should have listed exact specifics about the rip off listed. The whole air of the report leads me to believe that it never actually took place and is all 100% ficticious in nature.

In all of the baby band projects that I have come to work with Eddie on, all of them that have actually taken the time to do what Eddie instructed them to do, have reaped huge benefits from following his guidance. Those that didn't care to do that never actually made it beyond the garage band status. What the fact of the matter is is that just because a band hires a manager or a consultant to do a job for them, does not mean that they are going to get signed or offered a record deal by default. There are a lot of coefficients in the mix that must be taken into consideration and made correct in order for any positive results to come out of any talks. Point blank, if the artist does not pull through and do what is expected of them by any lablel or manager, then by all means no one will ever consider working with and or for them. Even though a band or artist may pay someone top wages to work in any capacity for them, they still have to ultimately be the ones to "win the hearts and minds" of those offering the contracts. The responsibilty ultimately falls back on the artist, and not the consultant or manager.

I find it highly sad that someone would have the audacity to come onto a site like this and launch a war of slander against a man that has such a solid background in this industry. But then again, there are those leaches and scabs in the mix that would do this in order to get someone blackballed, then be standing in the wings waiting to fill the void left behind by the one thay attacked.

I certainly hope that no one reads this bad report about this good man and takes it to heart without first reseaching more about the individual being accused of the wrong doings. Eddie Wenrick is in fact one of the best people I have ever had the pleasure of working with, and he has taken me to great places all by me having the common semnse to listen to his words of guidance.

It was rather disheartening to read this report. The writer obviously had a bad experience, perhaps they lacked the talent and/or creativity to inspire Mr. Wenrick to work with them further? To take a man who has worked as hard as Eddie Wenrick to build his careeer and contacts and drag him through the mud like this is not only vindictive, it is absurd. The music industry is one of the most competitive and there are never any guarantees. The opportunity to shine is all any of us can ask for, but people will either like what we put out, or they won't. It is humbling. I feel sorry for the folks who wrote this horrible critique. They obviously had high expectations. I wonder if they would provide evidence of their dealings? I am curious what exactly Mr. Wenrick agreed to that he did not fulfill.

My name is Matthew Human and I am a current client of Eddie Wenrick. Three years ago I was introduced to Eddie by an associate and fellow musician to help her "sus him out." It is rare to find someone with as much experience and credibility in the music industry who is so accessible and humble as Mr. Wenrick, and I too was extremely skeptical after our first conversations. He doesn't often drop names but when he does, they are big names. In time I did my homework and legwork and was able to determine that Eddie Wenrick was that rare person. I have personally met many of his contacts in Nashville, most of which are among the highest levels in the music and entertainment industry. I encouraged my friend to work with him as he could offer her the shot at the big leagues she was looking for. In the end the project didn't garner the attention and excitement we had hoped, but we created an album I am proud of be a co-producer of.

In 2013 I drove to Orange Country to meet Mr. Wenrick in person and he agreed to help me initially as a for-hire A&R consultant, the same deal he had offered my friend. As the project progressed Mr. Wenrick and I became closer friends and he decided he wanted to represent me as a manager. Not because he liked me, but he saw a potential for us to make money together. That is smart business. If Mr. Wenrick took on all of his consultant level clients as Management clients he would not have the time to focus on the careers he is trying to help build. I am sure some of those Consultant clients, like perhaps the one who wrote the statment I am rebutting, would have liked Mr. Wenrick to take them on and make them stars. I will admit there were times when Eddie has frustrated me saying he would call back later, and sometimes it would take days, but as I got to know Eddie's style it makes perfect sense. The man needs an executive assistant. He gets hundreds of phone calls a week, and these days many of them are on my behalf. If I ever really need to talk to him however he always makes the time for me, but if I just need my ego reassured that he's working on something, there's no need for him to drop all the balls he's juggling. I didn't write this to be a critique of Mr. Wenrick's working style though. My point is Eddie Wenrick is hell bent on being one of the most honest and integrious men in his field. He ALWAYS reminds me that to do good business, clear and direct honesty is the best way to work. Sometimes this pisses people off because they don't like what he has to say, but he is honest. Maybe that is what makes it hard to believe that is who he says he is. I am still learning about some of the amazing things Mr. Wenrick has done in his career. One day maybe we will write a thorough biography for him, but I think he operates just fine without it because he doesn't like the ego gratification, nor does he need random people trying to seek him out.

In closing, I will just say that obviously I have had a very different experience working with Mr. Wenrick. There are no guarantees in life, especially in the music industry, but sometimes one has to take risks to follow their bliss. I took a risk hiring Mr. Wenrick as a consultant, and I am glad I did. Mr. Wenrick has proven himself as an honest and good-hearted professional to me time and time again. I would raise my hand in court and swear on it, and If legal action is taken, I would gladly tell all of this to a judge. Thanks Eddie~

Praises for Eddie's work

Eddie has worked with me, and I have found him to be hard-working and full of great contacts.  His contacts have free will to either get involved or not with me.  He worked his a** off.  I have also since worked with and for Eddie.

In dissecting this post, the writer claims Eddie works for Spotlight Global, which he doesn’t.  Global Stars Network is an educational company that interviewed Eddie about artist development. If you go through the website, you’ll see Eddie interviewed alongside of many movers and shakers in the music world.

Eddie has done excellent work through the years with a variety of artists on both short and long term projects.

If you have any questions, please contact me via email at (((redacted)))

This is his interview; what he says makes a lot of sense.

Eddie has always paid on time and has kept his promises.  He works with the best in the industry.  Have you heard of Warrant and Kiss for example? We wouldn't have them as they are today without this music industry icon.  Just go and read his Forbes Magazine write-up.  Forbes doesn't write about losers and scammers, they seriously vet their sources.  Check out cmj2011.sched.org/speaker/eddiewenrick#.Vdq9XvlViko to get the real facts on this amazing man.  Head of Coachella or Concerts West?  He starte them.  You have to be great and listen to what he tells you to do or naturally you will not get a deal. After all the man has been head of A&R for several major labels, you'd think he'd know.  Alex Boye doesn't need the radio or a record deal, just youtube him! Over 160,000,000 views and sponsors, holy $%$$...  All because of Eddie and Alex teamwork.  Definitely work with this man if you want to make it in the music industry. I've been nothing but satisfied as a client.
