After speaking to several local movers in denver I decided to choose eden's moving srvice's . I spoke to a reservation agent who promised and guaranteed my price given would not go up . I must have called him 3-4 times before my pick up to make sure my inventory was correct . every time we spoke he said we were fine . several weeks later when the movers arrived , the foreman walked in and within 5 minutes said the fee would be close to 30 % more !! I was so upset that I kicked them out of my house and called the police . to this day they are refusing to give me my deposit back . do not hire this co !! my friend checked them out on line and saw many , mnay bad yelp reviews , I am enclosing some on the below ( there were 65 bad reviews !! )

  • If I could give this company fewer than 1 star, I would. I am completely dissatisfied with the lack of customer service I've received throughout my entire move with them from San Francisco to Seattle. I would never recommend this company in a million years. Their one job is to coordinate my move - and ensure delivery of my goods at the destination. They had my move in date more than 3 weeks. No one from customer service called me to give me updates on where my goods were, or whether they were on track with getting my delivery in the schedule for the date I selected. I had to continually call them, and then received unhelpful customer service. They say they cannot guarantee a delivery, but that is their primary job. The movers who picked up my goods in San Francisco yelled at me for not having a permit for their moving truck, after trying to change my pickup date on me at the last minute. Eden's should secure permits for the trucks, since they are the coordinators. They do not. And I could not have because the movers tried to change the date on me at the last minute. I cannot secure a parking permit for the truck for delivery either, since they "cannot confirm a delivery date." Plus, my customer service rep who worked with me at the beginning seems to have gone AWOL or didn't own my account all the way through. This company has done no coordinating or anything to earn the money I have paid them. They are horrible. Don't bother. I haven't received my good yet, and am STILL waiting with no word from them, despite multiple calls from me to follow up and messages left. I expect many goods to be broken.

Worst movers ever. I have moved several times over the years, and never have I had such a bad experience. Boxes smashed, glass broken on pictures packed well with bubble wrap all around the pictures. Picture scratched due to glass being broken. They packed my computer with a shredder!!!!! Still can't find all the pieces of the shredder. Every box smells like musty body odor. Stored in their storage for 3wks and everything smells bad. Crew not professional, customer service manager could care less about your belongings. No markings on the boxes they packed, so for weeks I thought my computer was missing. I still have items missing!!!!The salesman was an idiot. All he could repeated say was "I am the worst salesman ever"!!! Yes David, you are, and you work for the worst company ever. Stay away from these people!!!

If you value your possessions, your money, and your sanity do not even think of using this company!!! The employees are rude to the point of harrassment, and lie at every opportunity. They said items would be delivered 7-14 days, and then called in 2 days to deliver. We were not at our new location. Said it would be additional $800 to store and re-deliver. When they did deliver, not all items were there, and we were informed at that time some were left in Colorado, and they didn't know when those items would arrive. The said they actually had 1-21 days to deliver not 7-14 as the contract stated. It took 3 weeks for most of the items to arrive. Some boxes were never delivered, which was marked on the bill of lading. We were told the driver said all boxes were delivered. Vintage sofa arrived missing a leg, torn, and smeared with blue paint. Boxes were crushed, items were lost, and furniture damaged beyond repair. Delivery truck was so dirty it actually had old banana peels on the floor. When I mentioned this to an employee, she said we didn't actually expect them to clean the truck after each use, did I? Our original estimate was $1250....we ended up paying over $2200 for them to ruin and lose our items. When I submitted an insurance claim they offered us $144.00!!  Every single time I had to deal with these people it was an anxiety attack in the making! Do yourself a favor and steer clear of this company!

A DAY OF MY BEING THREATENED BY EDEN MANAGER DEMANDING I REMOVE THIS POST.
Today I called and wrote the FBI and reported theft. And Indianapolis PD. Also contacted investigative reporter from Indianapolis TV station. Yesterday the driver told me HE did the inventory himself without me. But here is my most distressing interaction yet with NICK, THE EDEN MANAGER IN DENVER. He yelled at me, threatened to sue me, told me his employees are not thieves, demanded I remove this post or he won't help me. Wihined that he and his employees and their families are going to lose money if I make these "false"'statements.  He also contradicted MS. Toy saying it was MY RESPONSIBILITY TO HAVE DONE INVENTORY.. I found myself screaming at him before I hung up in disgust. He swears this is the first problem of theft they've had. So what is missing:
+Hundreds of Jewelry pieces many for resale including
+silver and citrine, topaz, garnet, onyx, jade
     + Many goddess pieces
     + necklaces
     + earrings
     + rings and bracelets.
+Huge collection of southwest pieces including turquoise and coral designs
+ super glue and tools to fix jewelry and household items.
+ 3 rosary boxes Vatican collection
     +  Rocket Fish Wireless earphones
     + 2 DVD/CD drives external
+ Large oil painting of nude woman & child have had 40 years and is one of a pair.
+ glass piece to Krupps tea maker
AND MUCH I CAN'T REMEMBER AS TOO OVERWHELMED
So I really don't know who in Eden employ stole these items but clearly they took the small things that could be carted off and left me the books and clothes. It's a good thing they didn't know value of my sewing machine it that too would have disappeared.
AS PROMISED MORE WILL BE REVEALED. I PROMISE NICK IF YOU DO THE RIGHT THING I'LL WRITE ABOUT THAT TOO.
Ah. The power of the pen.
Blessings and lol to all. We need it

If I could give negative stars I would.  DO NOT use Eden's moving.  The sales people convince you they are good.  They are not.  I paid over $8000 to move from Denver to Virginia.  I paid extra for extra packing services.  They damaged a custom made murphy bed, glass front dresser and nightstand, sofa table, lamp. Almost as much in damage as I paid!.  I sent them receipts for everything.  They offered me $200!  I filed a claim with their insurance companies and they denied my claim because they wouldn't accept electronic photos.  I started a new job and it was hard for me to deal with this.  I was devastated.  Time has now allowed me to get to my mission of warning people so they lose as much business as possible.  Follow my #eden'smovingsucks.

First of all....I hired Alliance moving services from New York. Alliance then hired Edens, in turn Edens hire some smuck named Barak who picks up and stores my belongings until some other contractor picks up my things for transport from California. Once I get the company name I will repost. Barak did the pick up which he tried putting me off for another day for pick up. They come out and this fast talking smuck picked up my things and tried to get me for more money. The quotes are always going to be more after they arrive or should I say after you put down a non refundable deposit. My things sat in a warehouse for 2 weeks all while someone opened up my boxes stole some of my belongings and retapes them to look like nothing happened. This was really upsetting that some one or some company some how does not have the personal to keep our things from being stolen. What kind of company is this? I have to file a claim but I believe that it's a loss because I'm almost certain I will have to prove that the things stolen were in the shipment in the first place which I cannot prove. Items stolen...2 watches, glass vase with change inside maybe $20 worth, Storm trooper piggy bank with about $30 of change inside, $85 in ones from a garage sale we had and that money was in a chest box which was still in the box but no money, 2 iPods and 2 Samsung tablets. Some of my hats were also taken. Really? So far that's all I know at this time since I haven't had a chance to really unpacked everything. Don't hire a mover. If I could do it all over I would have rented a truck and then hire someone local company to pack and unpack my things. So pisted!!!!

First mistake - initially hiring a moving broker, Alliance do complete the move even though they are just a broker.
Second mistake - trusting that Alliance would find a solid moving company and instead trusted them.  This is how I ended up with Eden's.

I was setup to move to Colorado to Texas.  Eden's showed up on time June 22nd and the moving guys were awesome.  They did everything that they could to help accommodate my family in the move.

I put down that I would first be available three days later on June 25th.  What I didn't realize, due to trying to keep a 3 and 4 year old happy, is that by selecting that date it gives Eden's the ability to start its 7-14 BUSINESS days "average" delivery clock or its 21 BUSINESS contractual max delivery date.  Take that in for a second...7-14 business days is 2-3 weeks and 21 business days is a shade over 4 weeks!  Very misleading if you ask me since nobody references business days in 7 day increments but rather 5 day increments.  My fault I guess for not reading their contract closer and noticing that but come on, they purposely word it that way to get your initial business because once they have your stuff, and half of your money, you are at the mercy of these jokers.

Fast forward to early July and they have zero updates as to when my truck would show up.  Oh I also failed to mention that you have to call them, great customer service here my friends.  They do not call you since, I can only assume, they are too busy ignoring you as well as the rest of their clients.  Each week would go by and I would call in for an update but nothing new and would be politely reminded that they "legally" have 21 business days to deliver the goods.

Finally on July 9th Eden's called me and notified me that my truck would arrive between July 15th to the 18th.  It took them 17 days, starting the day I signed the contract, to call me to let me know that my truck would arrive between 23-26 days after they picked up my property...such a fast turnaround!

They gave me a number of the driver to call since, after all, why should they have to call their own employees when they can have their paying clients do it for them!

Finally on July 19th the truck showed up.  In the event you do not have a calendar the 19th is a Sunday...oh the irony that they do everything off of business days but my delivery was on a weekend.

Once again I cannot reiterate how awesome the truck driver and the movers were.  They are the only reason why this company is staying afloat...all of the jokers in Denver would need 21 business days to turn on a light switch for heavens sake.

A couple items were broken during the move, that they packed and were liable for, but even then they go through a different company to cover their own, you know what.  After looking through these new terms and conditions it will be faster, and extremely less stressful, to go back to work and replace these items on my own.

Sorry for the novel but to move a three bedroom house should not take 27 days.  In the event someone at Eden's is reading this, yes I said 27 days...nobody refers to things like this in business days!

Maybe if you stay near Denver they are fine, doubt it, but if you are looking to go from Western Colorado to Southern Texas I would say get used to sleeping on an air mattress because Eden's doesn't really care about you or your opinion.

What a horrible experience. I don't even know where to begin. First of all, they told us that we could pack our belongings in duffel bags for the move, then they charged us outrageous amounts for having to move it all to boxes. The cardboard box for my TV alone was $90 and they double charged me for it. Luckily I noticed it on the invoice. My original quote for my move was roughly $1400 and we ended up having to pay just under $4000 when it was all done. I didn't even have a chance to dispute the charges because they refuse to deliver your belongings until they are paid in full. When our things arrived, we had some damaged furniture (which was expected) but our brand new dining room table was not only damaged, it had footprints all over it. I had a personal moving dolly which was never delivered (note that it is documented that it wasn't delivered by the driver) and I am not getting reimbursed for that. When the mover arrived, he was by himself with no help to unload a 3 bedroom house so my wife and I had to help him unload, although we had already paid for the unload service. When I called customer service to complain, the man on the phone was extremely rude. He actually yelled at me and then hung up on me and I hadn't even lost my temper with him (yet). When I tried to call him back, he refused to answer as he was apparently the only person working on a Saturday. In all, they damaged a dining room table, completely broke a custom rocking chair, destroyed a book shelf in to several pieces, and either lost or stole my $160 dolly. I filed a claim with their insurance company and they informed me that we will be reimbursed $80 which I have yet to receive. I was also eventually told by customer service that we will be reimbursed $200 for having to unload our belongings ourselves and have not yet received payment for that either. Our dining room table cost $350 and my dolly cost $160 and we (allegedly) get reimbursed $80?!  We moved in January and it is now July but we have yet to receive any type of compensation. In summary; would I recommend Eden Movers? NO. Would I use Eden Movers for my next move? NO. If I'm driving through a snowstorm on a desolate mountain road and come across an Eden Movers truck broken down, would I help them? NO. I wish Yelp had an option for zero stars. If they decide to make things right I will gladly post it to Yelp but I seriously doubt that will happen. If you value your belongings, money, and sanity then do not use this company.

Misrepesentation of services. Promise of refund never received. The rep of the company Dawn was extremely nice and helpful but she was less than upfront about the packing and moving of items that had glass or mirrors and the amount of time it would take. I agreed to have 2 men come and move me from one apartment in a Lowry complex to another in the same complex. Dawn stated it would take 4 hours and two men to complete the job. I agreed to those terms. When the men showed up there were three men and I asked why since i agreed to only 2. The driver st that the third was "free" since he needed a third on the next job. Well..the 3 men turned into 1.5 men since the only one who actually did anything was the spanish speaking man. The driver and the other gentleman spent lots of time doing nothing or talking. When it came time to move part of the bedroom furniture i was told it would cost me $40 to put a box around the mirror part of the dresser. I was never told that I had to have the mirror boxed. Since I was not able to move that piece myself I agreed. Not only did I have to pay $40. but the men used one of my box to just put around the mirror and tape!! The promised me wardrobe boxes...the had them but no rod to put the hangers on to keep the clothes neat. That cost me time having to re-press most of the time (and I had to dig down into the tall box to even get to my clothes). Many things were left in the old apartment for me (at age 67) to move down three flights and up another three. The rep for the company (Howard) said all they would do is refund the $40.00. The move was in January, the complaint "filed" several weeks later due to illness, but I still have gotten even the $40.00. I want 1/2 of the fee back and the $40.00 since it took me 3 days more to move the items they left behind

The only reason I gave Edens 1 star was because they won't let me give less. They showed up for my relocation move with zero help other than the driver and it was a full truck load of goods. I ended up having to hire my own crew to help finish the move in time for our real estate closing. The driver also hauled my bbq grill across the living room floor spilling grease across the carpet. Once it came time to unload my belongings they did bring plenty of help. Of course that was good thing since they left the ramps behind so everything had to be lifted out and lowered to the street. That includes an 800 pound gun safe and a 1000 pound tool box. Do yourself a favor and hire someone else
