EDGE Tech Corp Rebate Program Rebate Program is a fake only advertised to sell the products Internet
I just bought a digital camera & needed a memory card so I looked on Walmart.com for one. The one I picked out was an EDGE 256MB SD memory card. So I went to the store near me and they did not carry them in the store so I got back online and ordered it from Walmart's website and printed off the rebate form from the link on the same page as the memory card. I get it- mail in everything that it says I am supposed to, and a week or so later I get an e-mail that says my rebate was denied for these reasons: STORE RECEIPT NOT SUBMITTED
SEND PACKING SLIP
ORIGINAL PURCHASE NOT DURING REBATE PERIOD
PCHSED --VALID DATES: 11/01/04-04/30/05
INVALID INCOMPLETE OR ALTERED RECEIPT
Every single one of these are untrue- and obviously I don't have a store receipt b/c I bought it online so I had also mailed in the printed receipt from the time I paid for it. I also kept copies of everything I sent to them for the rebate- so I KNOW it's not my memory I had everything ready in front of me when I tried to call them.
I can't e-mail them back b/c it says that if a reply is sent to the one it came from I would get no response. So I called the number it gave in the e-mail and what a surprise- I tried calling them for a WEEK and every time the same thing. Three of those times I waited on hold for 15-20 minutes- which most people wouldn't even probably waste their time doing, not once did I get to talk to a person. Their products may be good but apparently this rebate program they advertised is bullshit & was just to get people to buy their memory cards.
