Edge Tech Corp Rebate promissed not fulfilled - $40.00 Ripoff El Paso Texas

I submitted my rebate for $40 for purchase of '160GB DiskGo! by Edge USB 3.5" Portable Hard Drive - SKU # 620710' on 11/25/2005 from Staples.com

The rebate was mailed out on 12/7/05 within the stipulated period of 15 days from the date of purchase - but it is not reflecting in their rebate status program - online and automated telephone service.

On enquiring about the status with the telephone representative, I was advised that they seem to have not received my submission and that the promotion is currently closed and as per rules of the promotion are anot responsible for lost submission/s and thus can not help me on this. In nutshell, it is rude on their part to shirk off their responsibility and I stand to loose out on $40.
