Internet radio station advertises for winning cruise tickets. I called phone number, was caller number 7, and I won! (Not, called again, and every call is "winner") edge97.com seems to be solely sponsored by celebration cruse lines (google them! Awful scammers!) and you get a recording saying you won two free tickets to the Bahamas on a cruise ship. Two days and nights.... After the recording a radio announcer got on the phone... Really kudos, you sounded real dude! You deserve that 8$ hour! Lol. He gets your name, phone number, and says only have to pay $59 tax and port fee! And gives you a website to go to, to enter your phone number to "claim" your tickets. Now this is owned and operated by celebration cruise lines, formerly Bahama cruise line (from my research the latter went bankrupt and former took up the scam under a new name. ) and the celebration cruise line website, there is no way to book tickets, no way to book a vacation.... Strange huh? Disney cruise line would... Thankfully I didn't "claim " my tickets, never entered my number in the website. While yes, you can pay the $59 per person and use tickets w/in 18 months, you'll arrive to ghetto motels, awful food, and a casino ship, and charges all over your credit card! Not at all what they advertise! Seriously read the other reports. Edge97.com is a new take on an old cruise ship scam. YOU almost had me! No, it looked all kinds of wrong everywhere. Everywhere... First tip off was the radio guy saying that if I book now I can upgrade to better rooms! (For outrageous charges, and hidden charges, and a room that's maybe five sq ft bigger from what I gathered online) The radio station even has its own cruise ship blog stating how these cruise ships can give tickets away... And it was SO fake! Scripted.... Generic, scam. And if those people who commented really did pay for the tickets (not one went on the cruise yet, they just won and paid the tax and dock fee), not one went on the cruise yet! Or they would be very mad! Look up celebration cruise on here, you'll see!
