A coworker notified me that there was a recorded message regarding a pending delivery. I had ordered something to be delivered and thought this was what it was concerning. I immedieatly called back and a gentleman wanted to verify my cell #. Before I thought about it, I gave it to him. He then proceeded to threaten me with a warrant for my arrest to be given at my job if I didn't pay $2900.00. There was some exchange of words, but no verification of the co. I went into my office to call the number back, this time there was a very rude lady who refused to give me a physical address, or a verification of any monies owed. She even had the gall to tell me that since it was a legal firm she didn't have to give me any verification. There was alot of talk about warrants, subpeonas, etc. She even had my old email address!
I contacted my AG office and was told that this is a scam and advised me not to talk to them anymore. I am upset that I gave them my # without thinking about it, but it was busy where I work and I really never had a problem ike this before. Now they have my #. I will sue them if they call my job again, if I can find out who they really are. The AG did take all of the info I had.
Their # is 866-873-8128. She said her name is Judy Harmon and she works with Hannah Jones. I tried to look this up to no avail.
