EDiet.com ripoff Failure to cancel and refund money Deerfield Beach Florida

I attempted to sign up for ediets.com. However, when I got to the final payment authorization screen, the charge was more than what I thought it would be. It was supposed to be 19.95, but it was 27.99, although I did not check any of the 'extra' expenditures.

At this point, I hit cancel, not expecting my card to be charged. Well, the card was charged. So, then I decided that since they charged it anyway, I'll go ahead and go through with it, because I was interested in the program.

I did my nutritional profile, but because I am breastfeeding, a message popped up that I cannot be in the program, and to please call the number and cancel - no where in the message did it say that I had to call THAT DAY.

This happened Friday afternoon. Today is Monday, and I just called the customer service line to request a refund. Well, they can only refund $11.00 of my money, even though on the website THEY told me that I cannot be a member of the program. Since I did not call the day of the charge, they cannot give me a full refund, although they could cancel without all of the termination fees, even though I never took advantage of ANY of the website. I requested to speak to a supervisor and was informed that I could not speak to one because they would tell me the same thing the customer service rep was telling me.
