In all the years I have bought internet memberships and items from many companies, I never had a company charge my card on file after the expiration date. Well eDiets.com will do that and then when you dispute the charges they will blame your bank for letting the charges go through. eDiets.com customer service reps are very rude and they believe they are not braking any laws by charging expired credit cards. When I called my bank they told me that when they receive the charge they understand it is legit by the info they receive from the company, but if they have an expired credit card they should not charge my card. Well my problem right now, eDiets.com is blaming my credit card company and the credit card company blames eDiets.com. My credit card company automatically cancelled my credit card and issued me a new card and will dispute the charges as fraudalent charges. So the saga begins and hopefully ends well with a refund. We will see!

Don't even bother with this company because when it comes time to close your accounts or dispute charges they will step all over you and they make it seem like there's nothing you can do about it. GOODLUCK!

Dear Barb:

eDiets takes all customer issues and concerns seriously; and we work with our members to find a mutually acceptable solution. In regard to this post, it is unclear whether you had canceled the account. If not, a credit card would be charged until a) the member cancels the account or b) charges are unsuccessful.

We would like the opportunity to work directly with you to find an acceptable solution. If you call 866-751-0823 toll free, you'll be put in touch with Robert, our Director of Member Support, who will handle your case personally. We look forward to hearing from you.
