I just recently received a charge on my account for $159.95 today. The way I found out was by going online banking w/my bank. First of all this is a scam because I never fill out an application with these people. I have been calling all day trying to reach someone and it was no success.

After being ticked off, I called my bank to dispute the charges since it was unauthorized. My bank in the check fraud department explained to me that this is an application that you fill out thinking it was something else dealing with credit cards or payday loans online. I spoke with my bank and I spoke with the supervisor of my bank and they telling me that I will not get my money back because it is an authorized charge. They were stating the company had to get my information from somewhere.

Basically they are telling me that I will not be getting anything. I have to either closed my account or call FTC and report it to them. Well, I called FTC and they told me all they do is report the fraud disputes just in case another scenario might arise in the near future. FTC was very helpful she explain to me to call the credit bureau and report a fraud alert on my file. I also called my local police department and spoke with an Economics Crime Detective. He advise me to go to the local branch and fill out an affadvit pertaining to the dispute and once that is done then they will get involve with the situation.

At about late in the evening I finally got in touch with someone at this EDP company. Spoke w/ a lady name Velia at ext. 119. She was very rude did not want to listen to nothing I had to say. Explain to me that someone use my computer to put the order in for prepaid card. I told her that who would be stupid enough to apply for a prepaid card. She stated that they have a fraud form that can be email or mail to you to fill out and it will go to the local police to investigate. She said it will link back to the IP address to see who was using the computer at the time.

That is not the case! The case is that they sent an unauthorized charge to my bank and my bank actually put the charge through. I have been with this bank for over five years and they are treating me like I am guilty. They will not have my business no more and I will end up writing to the Controller of the bank. I have been so stressed trying to resolve this and its a pain in the --you know what..

Please remember if you apply for a credit card or pay day loan online DO NOT DO IT.

I had the same thing happen with this scam of a company. However, my bank was very helpful in getting this resolved. They reversed the charge and sent it back to the company. I had to close out my old account and open a new one. It is your right to dispute anything not authorized.

I had this same thing happen from the same company. My bank immediatly sent the charge back. This is your right!! Dont let them tell you no. All you have to do is sign a chargeback. I would tell them if they still refuse that they will be listed on here as well as you will be sending a letter to the FTC and the Comptroller of the United States. This will get their attention.
