Payday loans, car title loans, etc. are VERY BAD DEALS

Rhonda- If all you loose is $159.95 then you are lucky. If they told you the fee is $159.95 and you went ahead and paid it, then I suspect it is "too bad" for you.
I read a story 2 months ago in our Sunday paper about a giging muscian who was going to be late with his $1000 rent, so rather than pay a $25 late-rent fee he got a $200 car-title loan on his Chevy Lumina. He returned late one Friday but he had already called in advance to tell the car-title loan people he would be in Monday with their money. The Lumina was repossed that Saturday.
In the end, he had paid $1200 on the loan AND his Lumina was also reposessed. So that $200 loan cost him ....ummm... $1700?
