EDPReporting, Acclaim MasterCard RipOff, Fraudulent, takes Money, horrible customer service, long waiting period Ripoff Internet
On December 29th, I check my bank account and see that an e-check for 159.95 has been taken out of my account. I proceed to go through this whole cat-and-mouse game to try and get my money back.
My bank tells me that it came from EDPreporting. Mind you, I'm away at school, so It's going to be awhile before I can get to my hometown to file a report with the bank.
I call EDPreporting and I am waiting for more than 10 minutes(unacceptable). After a while, my call is answered by Bernette(I guess that's how it is spelled). He tells me, that he can send me a form either through my e-mail or by snail mail. I am supposed to fill it out and go to the police department to file a report.and after the police investigation, if my claim is found out to be fraudulent , then they will refund me the money.
I find this unacceptable since I have had a problem once before with someone getting my credit card number and that company had their own Fraud Protection department that looked into that matter.
I am given the website that the request came from and I realize that I had been to this site after I was looking for a payday loan. Apparently, that site sent me to www.superacclaimcard.com. I DID NOT SEND IN THE INFORMATION. I repetaedly told him this. He asked me if I read the Terms and Conditions and if I saw that I only had 3 days to cancel. I said apparently not if I did not click to send in the info. But somehow, it was sent anyway. Apparently, I "requested" for the card on December 21st. so by the time I could even get in contact with someone, January 5th, it was way too late.
After I answered whether or not I had read the terms and conditions. I was told that the card would still be sent to me and was instantly hung up on.
I called back and received an operator who said all she could do was take my information down and give it to a rep who would contact me in 24 to 48 hours. Then I was hung up on. I called again and received Bernette again. I immediately ask to speak to a manager. I am told that no manager is available and that my info would be taken down and I would be contacted within 24 to 48 hours. After I asked why I could not speak to a manager immediately, Bernette proceeds to start explaining when all of a sudden the phone "mysteriously" breaks up and then the call is ended.
I call one more time after several hours and surprise, surprise, I receive the same operator. I'm so frustrated that I just hang up.
I realized this must be some type of scam since: 1. There is no address listed on the website. 2. There is an unknown fee if you choose to call a representative. 3. In four phone calls at different times, I received the same 2 people.
You be the judge, but I'm definitely going to get something done. They have no idea who they messed with.

It is good to know that I'm not the only person they've done this to. However, it is unsettling to know that there are so many of us! There are enough individuals affected by this crooked company(EDP) that is. There is no excuse for lawyers to be sleeping on a case like this.We do have a case, you know? A class action suit must be filed at once before more people are affected by this diseased mis-representation of a business. The employess that work there are crass and who ever owns this business should be ashamed of themselves for stealing. Get a real job like those of us that work hard to put money into our checking accounts.
No matter what religon you consumers go by, remember this:(Applicable to those who are employees of (EDP) and it's owners.)
The Bible: What one sews that shall he reap.
(Karma)What goes around comes around.
And Ghetto Religon: Pay back is a B**ch Motha F**ka! I'll see your a** in court!

Hi I was a victim too but I followed some advise and contact Debbie which she was very helpful and professional and within 1 week I received a check in the mail. I don't think she belongs in that company she was the only person that seem to have any good sense. Once again I did get my money back. All my thanks goes out to Debbie!

I'm sorry you feel the way that you do and I do apologize to you. I've been trying to help you by putting you in touch with the right person whom could help get this matter resolved. But it seems your not interested in getting the matter resolved. I am not judging you on what statements you've made but I would like to clarify it. On the check your bank received from us do have a name on the bottom to contact if fraud, that is the person you should have been contacting and perhaps this whole thing could have been resolved, if you was at our website we do list our address and phone number we are not hiding from anyone. We do have a fraud department that handles fradulent claims.
If you believe your account was fraudulently charged for the purchase price of one of the products we support we will make every effort to aid in a resolution.
I can't advise you on what to do but if in fact this is fraud, we will cooperate to help pursue and apprehend the criminals.
If you would like to seek help as I have offered please call Debbie at 818-487-0672 exit 141 She does answer her phone or if unavailable just leave her a message and she will call you right back. You will not know this unless you try it then of course you could past judgement.
