I did not apply for a debit cart.... never received the card.... but my account was charge $159.95.... on 5/15/06...which left me in a very serious financial bind... I am a senior and on Widows benefits from social security.... when I saw the charge I immediately contacted edp by email... I was told to contact the police department for possible fraud.... I then sent them another email stating that it was them who was the fraud.... received another email stating that they would check into this.... that's the last I heard from them... I tried calling them but after 10 minutes of waiting was referred to the internet address.... this happened several times when trying to call them.... sent another email and again never received a response back.... emails were directed to Marc and Jasmine please help me get my money back.... my account is overdrawn until I get my next social security check... I will check with my bank to see if they will do anything about this.

I don't know if this is any help but I'm a senior on disability and was also ripped off by this fraudulant company. I hope we can ban together to stop them!! I keep pretty tight tabs on my account and found out about the $159.95 check immediately after it was stolen from amy account. My bank has been very good about helping .They submitted what is called a "back Out" form and hopefully my money will be returned.

About debbie@EDPReporting, she said she would try to address my problem. But was not very sympathetic over the phone. She said to wait to see if the money is put back into my account within the next 48 hrs .and if not to call her back and she would "see" waht she could do(hmmmmmm, see what she could do about MY money!!).

In the meantime I have reported this fraud to The FBI internet fruad Investigations department . If you go to Google and type in IFCC in the search box it will take you to where you can place a complaint. May I suggest that anyone who has been ripped off by this scam report it immediately. Good luck to all of us. God will take care of these theifs! In the meantime, i hope all of us especially the seniors and people living on fixed incomes can have enough money to buy FOOD this week! This has really HURT me. This is alot of money for most people to take as a loss!
I still ahven't a clue what it is SUPPOSED to be for?????

#3Consumer Suggestion

Tue, August 01, 2006

Barbara,
I to was a victim of this bogus company. I thought I was applying for a payday loan on line and the next thing I knew this sham of a company had hit my bank account for 159.95. Im not on a fixed income like you but its even worse when they hit senior citzens.

May I offer a suggestion if you have not already got this straightened out. You might try going to your bank and seeing if they will close out your old account and reopen a new one. My bank did this for me and even deposited the money that this company took. They returned the check back to this company.

I did speak with a Debbie Fecik in fraud and compliance. Im going to try and leave her email address for you it Debbie@edpreporting.com. She did forward a copy of a courtesy refund form for me to print out and send bac along with a copy of the check. Unfortunely, this would not print out. I think she just did this to keep me quite.

I did receive this worthless card in the mail and will be returning it. Even if I dont get my money back the bank was nice about this. Hope this helps and we do need to band together to stop this bunch of thieves. if they let the email address through email her and see if you have better luck than I did. Good luck!!!!
