EDS Security, Electronic Detection Services ripoff mislead into a three year contract while stating it was month to month Marietta Georgia
We changed our phoneline from standard to VoIP, and called Dave, the owner we think of EDS, and he said that he couldn't do anything about it. All that was required was a visit to my house and adding the number "1" before it dialed out. Seeing that I was not going to get the proper service, I called another company and had a tech come to my house to see if they could make it work. They could, and he said it was no bid deal. All that EDS had to do was make a visit. So I swicthed the companies, and called EDS to cancel my monthly service.
Surprise..Surprise, Dave hits me with well you have a 3 year contract. So yes we had signed it, but all the while we were led to belive that it will be a month to month contract. He flat out lied to us and our friends who were under the same impression that it was month to month contract. Stay away from them. Dishonest liars!
