Edugraphics.net - Feenix - Web-Shops.net Ripoff steals money from students! Paid for ed materials never received them Company unreachable Petersburg Virginia
I am a student, doing prerequisites for medical school. I paid for an anatomical chart (of the muscular system) from a site called edugraphics.net on 4/10/06. I did not receive confirmation after I had purchased it, and the company did not respond to my emails or phone calls asking for it. On 4/11/06, the cost of the poster ($25.70) was debited from my account. I never received it.
More unreturned emails, and the voicemail at the company said "this voicemail box is full" and wouldn't let me leave a message.
I reported them to the BBB, who were also unable to reach the company.
I went to my bank to file a dispute, but they said I couldn't, since by pressing 'Submit' I agreed to pay for it. I argued that I didn't agree to not receive it, but they said I had no case.
This is blatantly unfair. I am a student on the ever-shrinking dole of financial aid. I've been online for more than a decade and have never had a problem buying something online. It's sick that this company - whose website seems quite good and on the up and up - is actually a pack of thieves, intent on praying upon people - adults *and* kids - who value education.
I want my money back. I want karma to bite this company, owned by Mr. Mike S. Broadhill, in the a**. But mostly I'd like a chart of the human female muscular system!
