Edward & Trust Services Sent check saying I had won $ and as soon as I sent them $ back, I would receive $50,000 Shawnee Mission Kansas
I received a blank envelope, no return address,with something like 'Canada mail' on the outside. Inside was a letter with a check for $2995.00. Letter heading read: Award claim final notification and went on to say that I was a sweepstakes winner and named sponsors of: Reader's digest, Publishers Clearing house, etc.
It also said that the international law ensures that a winner pays a processing fee before the funds are released. The same law prevents you from paying with your personal money but from your winning money; the first installment of $2995 USD should be used for the payment of the processing fee.
The check looks very real with embarq name and logo in upper left portion of check and my name and address typed on check.
