Complaint Review: EDWIN AUTO REPAIR

This place is a scam ! I took my car there for service and made it clear I wanted no other work done on the car and that it just needed the oil change and tune up. They told me to come back in 2 hours and when I returned I spoke to the manager or owner Edwin. he said that they were doing a normal check and that I needed to get the engine looked at because a light came on. The car has 30,000 miles on it and is still under Hondas new car warranty. The shop took apart my car and when I told them I was not going to have them fix whatever issues they claimed was wrong Edwin got upset and said that he will not put the car back together unless I pay him $900 ! I went in to get a $85.00 oil change and walk out owing money for work I did not need done. If there was a problem with the car then Honda would have taken care of it because it was under Honda warranty. I made it clear that I did not want any other services prior to leaving my car there for the work and they mentioned nothing else would get done. After 20 mins of me crying Edwin took $600 dollars from me. I went to the honda dealer to have them look at the car and spent another $150 for no reason because NOTHING was wrong!
