Complaint Review: Edye Miller

 Eight years ago I purchased a French Bull dog puppy from this woman.  He passed suddenly 3 weeks ago today. 

After my original call to Edye after seeing "Ceil" on line for sale, she explained how she bred dogs in her home and cared for them from birth to sale.  She convinced me that he was a healthy, American born Frenchie.

Upon delivery ($300) of my male puppy Will (my name for him) there were no papers with him as promised.  I repeatedly called Edye for a year asking for his papers.  She had excuse after excuse of why she did not have the time to fill out his papers.  I contacted the AKC and they explained there was nothing that they could do.

After one year, I finally received his papers and that is when I realized why it took her a year.  My dog had come from Russia!  His birth certificate was in Russian, from Russia.  I immediatly called her and she gave me a long story about how she flew her female to Russia to be bred with a Russian male.  After listening to her lies, I was so furious with her for not being honest, I hung up on her.  There was nothing I could do.

Please understand that Willie was the most wonderful dog anyone could be blessed to have.  He brought only pure joy into my life and everyone he had contact with.  With saying that, Wille has a medical file several inches wide.  3 weeks ago he started panting while I was bathing him.  Several hours later I rushed him to Cornell University Emergency Center in Stamford, Ct.  Two minutes later he stopped breathing.  Apparently he had a tumor that broke and flooded the sac of his heart with blood and he died.  I am devastated.

I just came upon this website this morning and saw her name and had to let the public know that she is not a reputable breeder and to stay away!
