EEMBARQ cannot get its online billing to work more than a month at a time, for months!!! MONTICELLO Florida

On the whole I have had terrible experiences with
Embarq. First, when I went to long distance and a toll-free number, I had a nightmare getting the wrong information from their customer service people for days about what exactly I had to do to get my toll-free # to work. This was after it HAD worked for months - so I had no idea that I still had anything to do, then I got 5 different stories about what to do from their terrible and no-nothing customer service people. Finally had to find out for myself online.

Then, after signing up for online billing, I got the news a new registration was necessary because of changes to their system. I did the new registry and was thereafter never able to log on. I called and called and never was able to get the issue resolved. I finally emailed 2 or 3 of their big officers and that got me some attention. I thought the problem was finally solved and they actually were good enough to forgive my January bill for my trouble, which I thought was only right, but did appreciate. I got into my online account and thought all was well. I just got my email notice that I can look at my online bill and when I went to log on - same old problem. AAAAAAAHHHHH!
