I originally ordered chocolate chair sashes from this company in 2007. Our count increased so in 2008 I ordered an additional 36 sashes and some table overlays. When the overlays arrived they were of a poor quality so I decided to return them. The chair sashes were not chocolate but brown(name colors on bags)and did not come close to matching. I was told the manufacturer makes changes from time to time and I could return the original sashes if they were unopened and they would exchange them for the new color. They also said they would refund the overlays(no mention of a restocking fee).

The second order was made on May 12, 2008 and I patiently waited about a month and then contacted the company via live chat with Angelina. I was told they had made a refund on 6-9-08 and had taken out 20 % for restocking. I informed her that they were to exchange the sashes not refund. She rechecked and said the 95 sashes were shipped on 6-3-08. I thanked her and waited again.

On June 23,2008 I sent another email asking about the delivery date and was told by Josephine that a refund was sent. I contacted her again to inform her that I was disappointed they charged a restocking fee without notifying me before I returned anything and the math was incorrect even if they had taken 20% for restocking and I was still to receive my sashes. She wrote back that it was "perfectly fine to charge a restocking" and never addressed the promise to exchange sashes or the incorrect math.

The next email I told her I did not think it should not be "perfectly fine to take more than the percentage I was told". Kate then wrote back and said they decided to take 30% for the original order. They were not to refund that order in the first place! This company just makes up lies to cover their mistakes. I have all the correspondence in writing and I am going to forward it to the CEO.
