I want to let everyone know that you do not get an online fax number from eFax. They will not allow you to port over (transfer) your number to another provider and say that they don't own the number but don't service it themselves.

They use an Indian call center and need to transfer you to California to speak with a supervisor, very fishy. They don't allow porting of your so they can keep you as a long term customer.

Avoid them because they will auto charge you and make it difficult to cancel. They will tell you that they do not offer the ability to cancel over the phone and that you have to use a difficult chat mode. You then ask to port your number and they say its not possible and they try to cancel you right away so that you will lose your number and never, ever get it back.

These people are shady and need to be avoided. they have an F rating with the Better Business Bureau and have numerous complaints against them. I assume that this is not the only one on here of efax or j2global communications inc.
